How the Grier's Changed My Life

Ella's POV

All I remember is my house getting taken away by a hurricane 9 months ago. My mom and I had to move because our house was in pieces. We moved right across the street from the Grier's. Hayes and I are the same age and we have been friends since I moved here. He was so nice to me. I think I like him but I'm not that sure. I mean he probably doesn't like me because sometimes we get into fights and stuff but you never know.

I got a text from hayes

"Up for some pizza?"

I replied "yeah I'll be over in 20 minutes"

I got out of bed and realized it was 11:43. I got up out of bed and took a shower. I straightened my hair and put on a white tank top and black short shorts. I took my phone and put on my shoes and walked across the street to Hayes's house.

Hayes POV

I like Ella.....a lot

I want to ask her out but I don't know if I should yet. I was planning to ask her out about 2 months after she moved here but I chickened out! Well we're going for pizza so maybe...nevermind I'm a chicken. **knock knock**

"Come in" I yelled for my room. Ella came in and she looked so pretty. I looked pretty good myself.

Since it was the first week of summer vacation the weather was really nice so we walked to the Pizzeria. We sat down at a table in the back.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back" Ella said.

"Ok go do your girl stuff" I said. Ella giggled. She was so cute when she giggled. Ella came back just I'm time to take our order. We ordered some lunch and started to talk.

"So Ella....." I didn't know what to say.

"Do---you....like pancakes???" I said. Omg I'm so stupid I thought.

"Yeah who doesn't!" She said

I refused to let Ella pay. I payed with my own money that I earned to mow Will's lawn at his new house. As we were walking home I just stared at her. She looked at me.

"Do I have something on my face?" She asked.

"No" I said.

"I was just looking into your beautiful brown eyes." Ella blushed. She always blushed and turned pink.

"Hayes there poop colored!" She said laughing

Ella's POV

As hayes and I were walking home I just could not get my eyes off his eyes. There as blue as the sky! we just talked and talked. Hayes put out his hand for me to hold. His hand was really sweaty! was he nervous? why would he be nervous we're not a thing were just friends.

Maybe he likes me. Probobly not. We held hands and we soon got to our house. We were in front of our house and hayes and I played outside. He gave me a piggy back ride. We ran around the whole backyard.

"Hayes your going to fast!!!!!" I screamed.

"Oh what's that..you want me to go faster?" he said sarcastically.

Hayes soon let me down. We just stared into each other's eyes and as soon as you know it our lips met. We kissed. Like our lips met. OMG. It was a long kiss. It felt really nice though.

"That was nice" hayes said.

"Yeah" I said. It was kind of Akward. I got a call from my mom.

E: hi mom what's up

M: you are going to have to stay with Hayes Nash and Skylynn for about a month or so because I have to go on a business trip. Is that ok?
