(Pessimist [they] x Optimist [her] )

They sat outside, on the edge of the cliff. A soft sigh escaped as they stared up at the night sky. Their girlfriend came out and sat next to them. "Hey Pessimist. What're you doing out here?" She looked at them with a smile. "How do you do it? How do you stay positive with the whole world being an utter waste?" Optimist wasn't surprised by the question since she was asked this a couple of times before. "I don't know. It's just how I view the world and how I feel." Pessimist lowered their head and Optimist wrapped her arm around their shoulders, pulling them close. They leaned their head on her shoulder. "I'm tired Optimist. I'm tired of this world, I'm tired of seeing everything negatively, I'm just so god damn tired." Optimist nodded "I know, and it's alright to feel that way." The two heard footsteps behind them. It was Pacifist. "Hey guys, what's happening out here?" They asked and Pessimist only answered with "Nothing. Go back inside with your boyfriend Realist." Pessimist and Realist didn't get along well. Realist uses Pessimist harsh tone and mixed it with harsh words before using it against them. Pacifist gave a sad look and went back inside. Optimist sighed and kissed their head. "It's about time we head back Pessimist." They shook their head. "Just a little longer." She smiled and nodded. "Alright, I love you." Pessimist stared into her eyes with doubt. "Do you really?" Optimist nodded. "I love you as much as the amount of stars above us." She answered causing a blush to form on their cheeks. "Heh, I love you too."
