Kat's P.O.V.
We walked out of the host club that day in the perfect moods. We were in love, why shouldn't we have been happy? I smiled at Tamaki and kissed his cheek, explaining to him that I had to go do something before we left for his house. He nodded, understanding as usual, so I smiled and quickly walked away to put a few things in my locker and grab something I'd planned to give to him.

I sighed happily, watching Kat go and wondering what she could be doing. I smiled. Probably something sweet and selfless as usual... that's one of the reasons I loved her. I grinned, remembering the countless times she had dragged me to the hospital to visit the little kids with cancer there. My thoughts were interrupted by a voice. "Well there you are cutie," the voice purred. I frowned and looked around to see if they were talking to me before looking at the person that had said that. It was a girl who seemed familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. She grinned more and laughed lightly. "Don't think too hard sweetie, and don't worry... we're alone," she said and winked. I frowned more and shook my head. "Sorry, I'm taken and in a happy relationship...." I said, denying her flirting. She shrugged. "I know, but that doesn't matter now does it," she said, not in a question and more as a demand. She licked her lips and came closer to me. I backed up at her every step forward. She sighed and quickened her pace and grabbed me before I could even move away in protest. She yanked me forward into her lips and put her hands in my hair immediately. I struggled, but she had me locked in place somehow. I panicked. What if Kat saw this? She'd hurt the girl and hug me, right?

I skipped back towards Tamaki with the keychain I had gotten him. It was beautifully crafted... a red rose crafted of porcelain submerged in glass and engraved on the back with 'now and forever'. I hoped he would like it... I wanted to get him something to remind him of me. I skipped around the corner to a scene I did not expect. Tamaki... he was kissing another girl... she had her hands in his hair and he didn't seem to be fighting. I stood, shocked and frozen. It felt like my fluttering love sick heart had been ripped from my chest and torn into a million pieces. I teared up and watched them pull away. The girl turned to see me and grinned. "Oh, hello Kat," she said, grinning from ear to ear. I ignored her and looked at Tamaki. I could barely see him through the watery wall of built up tears in my eyes. "P-Princess... let me explain..." "T-Tamaki?" I teared up more. "Princess please don't cry.... it's not what it looks like." "I think it's exactly what it looks like." I said bitterly, my grief growing. "No... let me explain, please," "I- I- I th-think you've done e-enough," I said before bolting, the tears pouring down my face as I ran. "Princess!" Tamaki called after me and I heard him running after me. I couldn't stop the tears, it hurt too much. The heartbreak hurt more than I could describe. I kept running. The tears were blinding... everything was blurry... I didn't even see the person I bumped into until I had already bumped into them. This knocked the keychain out of my hand, but I couldn't go back for it, Tamaki was too close behind. I wiped away my tears and spotted the girls bathroom. I bolted into it quickly. He couldn't find me here. I slid down the wall and hugged my knees close, sobbing.

She went by so fast... a blur, but I could tell it was Kat. I watched her run, alarmed and then looked down to see the keychain she'd shown me earlier. This had to do with Tamaki... "Princess!!!" I heard Tamaki yell. I quickly hid in the shadows and watched as Tamaki stopped and picked up the keychain. He studied it and then looked up. "P-princess?" He called weakly. He sighed in defeat and got up, walking away miserably. I came out from my hiding spot and quietly followed Kat after she emerged from the bathroom. She had her phone up to her ear, calling someone. "Hey... E- Edward? Can you come pick me up? S-something came up and Tamaki had to leave in a rush," she lied. "O-oh... I forgot... it's okay, I'm sure I can grab someone. Hm? No, don't worry, I'm fine. It's all Gucci!" She said to the phone, faking her usual positivity. She hangs up and sighs. She sniffed and kept walking. I bit my lip. I had to help my best friend... I could beat Tamaki senseless later. I turned a corner to circle around that would run me right into Kat. I walked quickly and ran into Kat right in time. "Oh! Kat! Hey!" I called, smiling and pretending that I didn't know anything about what just happened. "Hey," she said flatly. "Huh... that's a weird tone you never use.... what's wrong?" I asked, playing dumb. She swiftly hugged me and began to cry into my shoulder. I frowned. Kat hadn't been such a wreck in years... she was a strong young woman, but this had definitely broken something inside her. Kat had formed a bond to Tamaki... almost as powerful as a demon's mate bond. Tamaki had just broken that bond, and it had broken part of her. It was very hard to watch Kat's heart break right in front of my eyes, but there was nothing I could do. All this was doing was stirring anger in me. How dare that boy do this to Kat! How did she deserve this!? She didn't, but he certainly deserved what he was going to get from her and myself next. "H-how could he... I- I trusted him..." she sobbed in my arms. "I know honey... I know..." I soothed and rubbed her back gently to quiet her. Her sobs began to soften until they were no more, she had fallen asleep. I picked her up and held her close to me as I walked to the front. I called a maid to come pick us up and rocked her back and forth as we waited. "K-Kat?" I heard Tamaki behind me. I sighed and turned, still holding Kat carefully. I glared at him. "Leave her alone Suoh, haven't you done enough damage?" I sneered. "Please... just let me see her without tears in her eyes..." he begged. I growled protectively. "Lay a hand on her and I hurt you," I snarled. He backed up, looking miserable. I frowned. "You can't really be that desperate for her if you cheated, stop acting like it," I said harshly. He winced at my tone. "It was staged... the girl forced herself on me and I couldn't get away..." he explained. "That's B.S. and you know it," I snarled as the car pulled up. I placed Kat gently inside, still sleeping soundly. I walked up to Tamaki and looked him in the eyes. He looked up, confusion in his eyes. I smirked and gave him a good, hard slap. "That's for Kat you - butthole." I said, knowing Kat would call him a butthole. I turned and slid into the car, telling the maid to drive. We rode off, leaving Tamaki with his shock and stinging face.
