"My kitten.."
I felt his breath on me, I smelled his pungent cologne, felt his firm grip. It hurt.. it hurt bad.. he was hurting me. As time went on the pain became worse until I fought back, pushing and slamming on his chest, finding some way to get him off.
"Kat,"
"Stop it.."
"Kat,"
"Stop, please!"
I sobbed, relentlessly pushing until I was finally up. I opened my eyes to see Tamaki, his hands holding my arms firmly and his face contorted into a look of concern. His messy blonde hair hung in his face carelessly, like he had just woken up. I glanced at the clock. 9 in the morning.. I had probably woke him.
"I-I'm sorry.."
He released me, but still kept his gaze locked.
"Are you okay? You screamed.. a lot."
He watched me closely. I glanced down at my lap, resting my hands on my calves. My hands were shaking clearly enough to notice. I flipped my hands to look at my palms where crescent indents lay, nail indents, confirming that I had tensed up quite a lot. I shrugged it off and stood, running my hands through my hair.
I could feel Tamaki's eyes on me, but I ignored him and focused on walking around my room.
"You're pacing."
"I'm simply walking, I need the exercise."
In the corner of my eye I could see him raise an eyebrow and his head follow my figure. I ignored it and walked around my room, studying things on my dresser and then my bookshelf. I felt his warm arm slip into the curve of my waist and a sense of panic rushed through my body, quickly followed by relief and happiness. I smiled and turned, studying his violet eyes staring back at me. "How can someone be so beautiful?" I asked softly, cradling his cheek delicately. He chuckled and smiled at me, holding my arm to insist I keep my hand on his cheek. "I don't know why you're asking yourself questions, baby," he chuckled and pecked my lips, then looking up and out the window.
I watched him uneasily, looking for any reaction in his face. He stared off into space often now.. it made me wonder what he was thinking of. Was he thinking of me? Hopefully not.. hopefully he was just thinking of the host club. With that thought, I quickly took action, eager to distract him from my continuous problems.
"How's the host club?" I asked gently, running my finger in a circle along his chest as I watched it rise and fall slowly. He sighed, inferring that it definitely wasn't at its best. "We lost a lot of customers with you gone.. I took quite a few days away too, causing even more to leave." he shrugged. I frowned, shaking my head at him. "Don't shrug that off, that's your baby you're talking about. You need to be taking better care of this club, you don't want it to run into the ground." I scolded, staring into his eyes worriedly. His eyes didn't seem as radiant as usual, almost a little bit dull as he looked at me, grimacing and shaking his head.
"I could care less if it fails without me, I couldn't act like everything was fine while you were missing. Besides, if I were to leave it be, Kyoya could keep it running." He said without a care in his tone. I furrowed my brows, starting to feel a bit of frustration.
"Tamaki, don't you ever say that. This is your high school success we're talking about, this could get you a great reputation for college.. a futu-"
"A future? Are you kidding? You'd rather me succeed with a high school business club rather than worry about your life?" He snapped, grimacing at me and let go of my waist as he took a step back. I frowned, crossing my arms and staring at him in disbelief.
"What if I had just ran away? You would've wasted your time on some high school sweetheart instead of your future! That high school whatever you want to call it is something admission offices look for! Your success is important!"
"Oh so now I'm in the wrong for worrying about you? I'm in the wrong for giving a damn about your safety!?"
"You're in the wrong for not giving a damn about your own success! You could've lost real customers! Customers who would pay good money to spend time with you!"
"I don't give a rat's ass about them! So what? The world won't freaking end if I stopped hosting!"
"But you would've hurt some real potential for yourself!"
"As basically a high school emotional version of a hooker? Yeah, colleges love that."
"Well at least it's better than sulking all the time and not giving a damn about your future!"
"Oh now because I was worried I don't give a damn? I didn't give a damn because my world would've ended if you were dead!" He yelled. "I didn't know where you were or if you were even okay!"
I stared at him, my jaw clenched.
"Do you even care about that? The fact that I freaking love you? If I had lost you I would've lost everything! My future, my world, my freaking life for god sakes! God, Kat, don't you see? You are my world! You're the only freaking thing I see in my future and can't do without!"
I was speechless.. I felt like an ass.
"I-..."
I knew I was wrong, but god... what should I have said? There was always the possibility we didn't have a future, I couldn't be the reason he ruined his.
"Are you really not going to even say anything?" He sighed, beginning to turn. "I should go then." He said dryly.
"N-no. Wait." I said and pulled him back.
He spun around and I met him with my lips, wrapping my arms around him as we kissed. His hands slowly made their way to my waist before I came up for air. "I'm sorry.. I'm an ass.." I breathed, looking up at him and hoping he wasn't too mad.
He stared at me for what felt like eternity before kissing me again with passion. Our lips danced together harmoniously, in love, for what could have been seconds or centuries all at the same time. I smiled and pulled away from him shyly.
"I guess you aren't too mad at me.." I joked gently and he smiled softly.
He shook his head, his hair bouncing along with his cute little face. "I love you too damn much to be mad.. no matter how clueless you are." He breathed and packed my lips gently.
"Clueless or not, you do need to get back there soon.." I said gently and he sighed, playing with the fabric of my shirt. He smiled as he rubbed the fabric between his fingers.
"I wondered where this shirt went.." he said
I laughed and hit him lightly, and playfully on the arm. "Stopppp you're avoiding the subject!" I giggled.
He grinned and scooped me up, ignoring my kicking, screaming, and giggling. "The only subject I'm worried about is how much I love you.~" he purred and kissed me gently.
I smiled, pulling away, but stilling holding onto him. "Tamaki," I said and he sighed, nodding with a smile.
"Fine, but you can't look so dang cute when I have to.. it's distracting~"
I laughed happily, holding onto him like a child. "No promises," I said and let him steal another kiss.
"I love you.." he sing songed.
"I love you more,"
"I love you the most"
"I love you the mostest"
"That's not a word~ I win~"
"Oh hush"
