Carlie loved to cook and she wanted to have a dinner party but Nick didn't want to do the formal thing, so he suggested a barbeque. Besides, summer was ending soon. She was going to the store with Kaleigh, Megan and Yoli. Nick was broadcasting when she left. She picked up the girls and they headed to the market.
Once in the store they split up to get the items faster. At checkout, Megan saw an old friend and chatted. Yoli Kaleigh and Carlie went to the car and put the bags inside. Megan got in a few minutes later.
They headed back to the house and unpacked everything. Edwin, Brad, Alex, Shannon and Ocean, Kevin and a few others were there and helped take things inside or out back. Carlie brought the last bag in and sat it on the counter. She didn't see Nick and knew he was still doing his thing. She had to stop a few people from interrupting him. "No don't bother him when he's broadcasting. That's his time with his supporters. Can you guys set up outside?" she got Edwin and Alex distracted. Nick was trying with Edwin and things were ok. The girls were helping the guys while Shannon and Yoli filled the coolers with ice and drinks. Carlie wasn't doing an elaborate thing just the typical bbq fare. Kevin had the grills going and someone put music on. Carlie and Megan were preparing the food for the grill and Megan took the platter out to Kevin. Ocean and Summer were preparing these fruit kabobs and Carlie walked out to the other grill. Alex and Brad were there. "It's ok Carlie we got it." She gave him a look. "Don't give me that shit about the man should do the grilling. I will kick your ass out Brad." Alex laughed. Carlie grabbed the tongs from him. "Go find your girlfriend." he made a face at her and walked off. Kevin had the other one covered and she didn't mind it because she liked Kevin. Thirty minutes later Nick walked out. "PARTY at our house!!" Everyone laughed as they spoke to him. He grabbed a drink and started talking to Alex and Jack. He hadn't talked to Jack in awhile and they sat and caught up. Carlie had Megan put the cooked food on the table while they cooked the last of the items to be grilled. Shannon yelled out. "Hey guys! Let's play a game!" Carlie groaned 'oh god' and Shannon turned to her. "Shush. Now this is for couples." Megan brought out large pieces of card. Shannon and Megan talked for a minute and Megan took over. "Ok who's playing?" Shannon, Ocean, Edwin, Kaleigh, Brad, Nick and Yoli raised their hand. Someone had already set up the chairs to this game and Megan told the couples to sit with their backs to each other. "Summer can you turn the music down?" Summer lowered the music as Megan handed them each a piece of card and a sharpie. "Alright. The object is to see how well you know your partner."
Brad said. "Yoli and I haven't even dated that long."
Edwin said with a laugh, "Why did you raise your hand then you dummy."
Megan began. "So I'll ask about the girls first. There will be ten questions. Most points win. No peeking." Megan said.

Carlie laughed and Nick shook his head.

"Interesting. Everyone got it but Carlie gets half a point. Last question. What was an embarrassing moment of hers?"

"Nick, Edwin and Shannon got a point. So far Nick has five points, Edwin has four, Brad has three and Shannon has four." Megan took a sip of her drink and continued. "Ok guys no peeking, ladies what's his fave thing to do?" Kaleigh giggled.

Nick laughed, "Well we know Brad won't be getting a point."

So total Carlie and Nick got nine and a half, Ed and Kay got seven and a half, Yoli and Brad got five and Ocean and Shan got seven and a half. Looks like Nick and Carlie won." Alex turned the music back up. "Let's eat." everyone grabbed a plate and served themselves family style. They spent the rest of the evening having fun.
