Sasha and Lola sat next to each other across from Edward and Luke in the mall's cafeteria. They currently talking and eating their food from Panda Express. You wouldn't have thought that these people had met just a week or so ago, you would think they have known each other for years the way they spoke to one another.
"Edward get yo' fat ass fingers away from my orange chicken, damn!" Lola exclaimed causing Edward to suck his teeth while Luke and Sasha laughed.
"You not even eating it!" Edward defended. Lola cocked her head to the side.
"Okay and? I like to take my time eating unlike you." Edward finished his food before everybody else and is now harassing the rest of them for food. "Nigga if you still hungry, go order something else." Lola stated and Edward rolled his eyes and stood up.
"Fine! I'm going to get a lil' shawty to pay for it tho." His eyes scanned the room and locked eyes with someone from afar. "Bingo, found one. I'l be right back y'all." He quickly walked away. Luke shook his head.
"He gon' get his ass kicked one day." Luke said and the girls nodded in agreement. The trio began to make small talk, up until a light skin girl approached their table.
"Luke?" The girl said and Luke looked up and sighed before looking down. Lola and Sasha looked at each other in confusion.
"Who's this my guy?" Lola asked Luke.
"This is Janelle. Kayla's best friend." Sasha and Lola nodded their heads. Sasha cleared her throat and stuck her hand out.
"Nice to meet you, Janelle. I'm Sasha, I work with Luke and this is my bestfriend, Lola." Janelle only looked at Sasha hand then directed her attention back to Luke. Lola scrunched up her face and Sasha pulled her hand back.
"Does Kayla know you're here?" She asked him and it was now Luke's turn to scrunch up his face.
"Does it matter?" He said smartly.
"It does, actually. How do you think she would feel, seeing you here with your....coworkers." Lola laughed causing everyone to look at her.
"First of all, Jambalaya." Lola started.
"Janelle." Janelle corrected her.
"Yeah, whatever. Anyways, it doesn't matter how the fuck Kayla feels due to the fact that this is a innocent meet up and even if she did, that's her problem. We know." Lola said pointing to herself and Luke and Sasha. "That ain't shit going to happen after this outing. You, the outsider need to go back to where ever the hell you came from. You're dismissed." With that Lola went back to eating her food while Sasha slapped her forehead.
"So you're just going to let her talk about your girlfriend like that, Luke?" Luke sighed. He honestly couldn't stand Janelle do to her always being in his and Kayla's business.
"What she said was the truth. So, like she said. Go away." Luke stated and Sasha stifled a laugh. Janelle nodded her head and began to smile.
"You're absolutely right. I'll talk to you later. Goodbye, ladies." With that, she left. Lola scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"Sorry I had to talk down on your girl like that, Luke." She apologized but he waved her off.
"It's fine. You said the truth, this here is innocent. I don't plan on cheating." Luke sighed. He knew that Janelle was going to go tell Kayla what happened and that's just going to force him to stay at Ed's place again. They then sat in silence until Edward came rushing up to them, looking as if he had just got into a fight. Luke looked at him confused. "Nigga what happened?"
