Synopsis:

The year is 2046. Detective Ross Sylibus is transferred to Mars when a country singer on her flight is murdered. Making matters more complicated is that the singer is a "Third"—a robot that looks and feels like a human. Sylibus is partnered with Armitage—a beautiful female cop with a bad attitude. As they investigate the murder of the singer and other women on Mars, they uncover a conspiracy that can have them both killed by the Martian government.

Naomi Armitage

Naomi is an illegal 'third type' android who was created by Dr. Asakura whom she calls father. When Ross Syllabus joins the Mars Police Department he become Naomi's new partner.

The 'third type' androids are one of the most human like androids with special abilities that other androids do not have. They have been living with humans and no one can tell the difference between humans and them.

René D'anclaude

René D'anclaude is a doctor that worked with Dr. Asakura to create the third types. His appearance is used for the line of "assassinroids" that were later used to destroy all the third types. After Armitage and Ross go rogue- D'anclaude is moved to a secretive section of a Mars hospital and the surrounding area is barricaded by official government tanks and droid troops. Armitage and Ross easily face this challenge and smuggle him out, having to avoid the assassinroid D'anclaude in the process.

Ross Sylibus

When Ross was an officer of the Earth's Chicago Police Department an incident with a robot left him crippled and his partner dead. He now uses a cybernetic leg to walk and has a distrust of robots. Ross is later transferred to Mars Police Department where he becomes Naomi Armitage's new partner.
