Synopsis:

Kanie Seiya, a smart and extremely narcissistic high school student, believes that the beautiful but reserved Sento Isuzu has invited him on a date at an amusement park called Amagi Brilliant Park. Much to his chagrin, not only is the location a run-down facility, the supposed date is merely a recruitment tour where Sento and Princess Latifa Fleuranza, the owner of the theme park, ask him to become the park's new manager. Their cause for desperation? As stipulated in a land-use contract, Amagi has less than three months to meet a quota of 500,000 guests, or the park will be closed for good and the land redeveloped by a greedy real-estate company.

Seiya is won over by the revelation that Amagi is no ordinary amusement park; many of its employees are Maple Landers—mysterious magical beings who live in the human world and are nourished by the energy created by people having fun. Entrusted with the hopes and dreams of this far-off enchanted land, Seiya must now use his many skills to bring Amagi back on its feet, or watch it crumble before his eyes.

Latifa Fleuranza

Latifa Fleuranza is one of the main characters in the Amagi Brilliant Park series. She is a young girl with blonde wavy hair who has a teeny tiny silver tiara resting atop her head and has deep blue eyes. Latifa wears an elegant white dress made up of multiple of layers. The top layer features are flower embroidery at the ends and underneath the top layer it consists of frills. She has a light pink corset that is tightly tied by ribbons creating a slim hourglass figure that is emphasized by the poofiness of the dress layers. Latifa also wears white gloves, and accessories herself with two necklaces of different lengths. Sometimes she wears a blue scarf. Her name originates from Queen Latifah.

Latifa is cheerful person and is usually seen with a smile on her face. She is a caring and passionate person who is shown to be deeply concerned about the future of the amusement park and the consequences of it failing. Despite seeming demure and sweet, it is clear that she would go to great lengths to protect the park- evidenced by how she was willing to kiss a boy she had only just met to prove her "magic." It is shown that Latifa has a brilliant bright smile.

Spoiler:

In the novel, she is blind, which is marked with the white lights are off from her eyes. However, in the anime, she is presumably not blind as there are white lights on her eyes.

She is the princess of Maple Land who has magical powers. She can bestow her magic upon people by kissing them. As of now, the full extent of her influence and power is unknown. She is a girl who acts as the general manager for Amagi Brilliant Park.

She requests Seiya to rebuild the park that is facing closure due to lack of visitor attendance.

Seiya "Seiya Kodama" Kanie

Seiya is the protagonist. He is a perfectionist high school student who has mental sharpness, intelligence, excellent reflexes, and acts like a prince. He used to be involved in the entertainment industry during his childhood and his stage name was Seiya Kodama. According to Isuzu, he was a child who would have made every adult proud; however, Seiya has told her that he died a long time ago. He receives from Latifah the magical power of listening to a person's heart, although this power only works once with each person.
