Why

"Bubba."

"Ya sweetie it's me! Can you go to mommy's room," Austin asked softly.

She nodded her head and got of the bed still half asleep. When she was out of sight Austin looked at me.

"What? Why would your dad kill me," Austin asked shocked rubbing his hand gently up and down my cheek.

"He said you were in the way of his plans. H-He s-sai-dd I was his play toy," I cried as Austin's eyes filled with rage. He let out an animalistic growl before wrapping me up in his arms; he was shacking, and honestly it scared me.

"Mine," he growled nuzzling his nose into my neck. He took a big breath and he seemed to calm down.

"Austin," I whispered into his chest as I continued to sob.

"Ya baby," he asked playing with my hair.

"I'm scared," I confessed as another wave of uncontrollable sobs broke through.

"Shhh, Baby it's ok. I'll protect you! You don't ever need to feel scared," he soothed as he held me tighter against his chest.

Clutching his shirt in both of my fists I pulled him closer, if that's even possible.

"Lie down baby and I'll be back," Austin said as he stood up and walked to his drawer pulling out some shorts and turning to his bathroom.

He walked in and closed the door. A few minutes later I heard the faucet turn on and then the sound of an electric tooth brush.

Austin came back out dressed in nothing but a pair of black basketball shorts. I blushed as I saw his perfectly sculpted muscular body.

"You see something you like," Austin chuckled turning out the lights and coming over to me. I hid my face in the pillows and blushed.

The bed dipped down and I felt warmth beside me again.

"It's all yours," Austin whispered into my ear causing goosebumps to form on my neck.

I looked up and smiled as Austin kissed my cheek. I shivered as a cool draft came in through the broken window. I looked over and I think Austin noticed because then he said, "don't worry II'll get someone to fix that in the morning."

I nodded and snuggled up to him and let my eyes close. Austin kissed my temple and whispered something I didn't quite catch before I fell into my deep slumber.
