Dinner and Dreams

I can feel my palms sweating as we walk into the restaurant Austin's family is waiting in. I wipe my hands on my dress trying to get rid of the moistness.

"Babe, calm down. It's ok its just my family. Relax." Wow just your family Austin I didn't realise. How stupid of me!

"Great tactics Einstein." I mutter walking up to the front booth.

"Reservation for Cully." Austin says smiling at an older looking woman, maybe 50, by the way also ignoring my early remark. She showed us to the table and everyone eagerly greeted me.

"Hello, I don't believe we have met yet. I'm Axel, this goofballs charming and handsome older brother." Axel was the first to greet. He took my hand and brought it to his lips. I blushed and a little giggle escaped my mouth.

"Axel, Don't!" Austin growled ripping my hand from his. He brought me closer to him and I almost shuttered from the warmth that was radiating off of him.

"Chill bro, I have my mate." Axel smirked motioning to a blushing woman.

"Jessica right?" I ask the woman beside Axel.

"Yes, and you look great in that dress. Better than I ever did!" she chuckled genuinely smiling which of course I returned.

" I don't think we've been properly introduced. I'm Sandra Cully, Austin's mom." the woman from the infirmary said extending her hand. I shook it and smiled.

"Hayley Edwards, Austin's mate." I said copying her introduction.

"Don't forget about me!" Ava pouted cutely looking hurt.

"Awe I would never!" I say opening my arms. She hopped down from her booster seat and ran into my arms.

"Hayley you smell good!" Ava sighed smelling me quite noticeably.

"She's a smeller." Sandra said as if this happens a lot.

"You don't say." I smirked rocking Ava in my arms as she lays her head down on my shoulder.

"Here I'll take her." Sandra offered about to get up and take her from my arms.

"Oh no it's fine, really." I reassure her smiling.

"Are you sure?" she asked.

"Positive." I smiled.

"Well lets eat shall we." Jessica and Axel said at the same time.

"Jinx!" they yelled at each other simultaneously.

"Good night guys!" Axel and Jessica yelled getting into their car and speeding away.

"Well we better get going." Sandra sighed motioning towards a sleeping Ava.

"Actually, I was wondering if we could keep her tonight?" I ask hopeful.

"I suppose that would be alright. I'll see you at home my loves!" She said kissing our cheeks hurriedly as the valet pooled up with her car.

Fancy restaurant I know!

"Why did you want to keep Ava tonight?" Austin questioned as I finished putting Ava in her car seat. Surprisingly, Austin had one in here already!

"I could tell your mom needed a little break." I said as I hopped into the passenger seat.

"You know we live in the same house as my mom and Ava right?" he questioned like I was stupid.

"Yes!" I blushed completely forgetting about the 'pack house'.
