Their bars here were honestly boring,I was wearing a hoody with a black leather boot,

The bar was practically empty and it was the so called best in town according to Rivers
My driver,

The bar had to be sued for been so boring in a lively town like this
Ish, they didn't even have anything amusing except the drinks,I let my hood down because I didn't think there was need to hide in bar that lacked people,

I drank a glass of scorch slowly as I picked up my phone,
It was august

*drunk and drunk and drunk and am seeing you everywhere but I don't think it's because I'm drunk I think it's because I have been thinking of you lately*
He texted,
I wondered where he went by this time of the night
I didn't want to talk to him drunk
I needed him to say that when he was sober then I think we might really have something,

I dropped my phone and a Puerto Rico song filled the bar suddenly it seemed to enlighten the bar but the awkwardness of the bar was impeccable
A Puerto Rico song in a French bar not to be racist or anything but that what I call awkward,

I was brought out of my fountain of thoughts,as I felt a hand behind me,it was a man in a cowboy hat And a long brown boot that reached up to his knee with a long white sleeve to go,

And i totally didn't expect what was coming next
As he stretched out his hand,
Saying,
*can I have this dance?*
He asked too politely,
He was too polite,so I felt refusing him would be a sin and nothing amusing had happened all night ,
So I was doing this
*oui Monsieur*
I replied,

Taking the man's hand which was cold and soft at the same time and he led me to the dance floor and the song increased,

He took the courtesy of bowing before pulling me closer to himself,I had to admit the guy seemed to be taken away by the song

I did learn a lot of things but salsa wasn't one of those things and the only thing I pitied were the poor man's toes I was going to be stepping on all night,

I tried my best to follow, the man's leg went back and mine followed going in front of he's we alternate it and surprisingly I was doing just fine
He turned me around so I would have my back against him,
We moved the same way going down together
Someone who didn't know us would think we have something going on,
And coming back up he held my hand and to my greatest surprise I was off the ground and on his shoulder as he turned around and moved sideways he held my waist firmly and let me down on the ground,
The song came to an end and he bowed again saying,
*merci Madame*
The man said,
*non stresse*
I replied,
With a smile on my face,I wasn't that much of a disappointment and the show kind off increased the number of people in the bar not much but something,
I paid for my drink and walked out of the bar.

The clouds were nebulous, I barely noticed my phone ring,
I picked up with looking at who it was,
*hello,its grace Manuel speaking*
I said,
Trying to catch my breath
*Why be so formal*
The voice from the other end said
Immediately I knew who was at the other end

*didn't check to see who it was*
I replied,

*what was the text all about, where did you go last night?*
I asked

*i was bored so I went out with friends*
August replied

*it was presumable*
*if you say so*
He replied,
*how far are you from New York*
he continued,
*am leaving tonight,on my way home to freshen up*
*ok, should I come get you from the airport?*
*i'm already been waited for*
I replied,
*that shouldn't be a problem,should it?*
*if you can get them away then it shouldn't*
I replied,
*good,so I am coming to get you from the airport*
He replied,
*thats if you are successful*
I replied,
*oh,sure I will my charms works both ways, if you know what I mean*
*gross August*
I said,
As he giggled over the phone as the call ended.
