*Amelia's POV*
I set up in my bed and scratch my head. I yawn as I stand up and walk over to my closet. I settle on a black skater skirt, and a green colored shirt. I pull on some translucent black tights and my black converse. I straighten my ginger colored hair and look in the mirror smiling. I grab my backpack and my list before heading out the door. I look at the list the same one sticking out as yesterday.
Can you help me breakup with my boyfriend?
I decide to save that one for a little bit and pick the death of a girls sister. I walk there wondering why I was asked to break up with this girls boyfriend. I mean sure it shouldn't be unusual but it was.
Maybe he was cheating?
Maybe he's abusive? I really hope he's not.
Maybe he's really nice and she was just rude.
I really hope its the last one, I think walking up to my current job. I try and look upset and knock. Another day in the life.

I walk down the sidewalk to the last job for today. It was the one I had also been the most curious about. I trip over a crack in the side walk and mumble some curse words and keep walking. I see the address and smile. Finally. I try and get rid of my smile which wasn't hard as it seems. I feel a sprinkle and blink. Then another and another. Rain starts pouring down and I run to the front porch and knock trying to pull myself together. The door opens and a guy stands there giving me a rather funny look.
"Hi", I gasp out.
"You okay?", he asks looking concerned.
"Yeah sorry, it started raining, and so I ran, and I'm kind of out of shape", I say smiling.
"Oh, I'm sorry, darn Seattle rain", he says chuckling.
"No kidding", I say smiling, He was nice, why did she want to breakup with him?
"So is there a reason your standing on my porch all dressed up?",he asks.
"Oh yeah I'm Amelia", I say holding out my hand. He raises and eyebrow and I awkwardly pull my hand back.
"You're Jordan right?", I ask.
"Yes so what do you want Amelia?", he asks leaning against the door frame.
"Well your girlfriend sent me to break up with you."
"Oh and how do I know she really wants to you're just a stranger", he points out. Wow no ones ever questioned it
Ever.
"I can show you if you'd like."
"Please do", he says confidently. I nod and pull out my phone. I show him the email and he reads it over.
"Oh", he says quietly.
"I'm sorry", I state frowning.
"I can't believe it after eight months", he says discouraged.
"I'm so sorry, I hate being the bearer of bad news."
"Its okay, how did you end up telling me any way?", he asks.
"Um well this is my job and she asked me to do this."
"This is your job? Breaking up with people?"
"Not just that, break ups, deaths, anything like that."
"Why would you want that kind of job?"
"It pays and I need to go to college.", I say, some of my emotions bubbling the the surface.
"Ah that makes since, well not really. Why not work in a cafe, or something like that?"
"That's not fun, too normal"
"Too normal?"
"That's what all teenagers do, I'm not all teenagers and I don't plan on serving grouchy people, that's no fun"
"And telling people depressing news is?"
"Well no but like I said, I need money."
"Hmm I see, well have a tip since you did this when she couldnt", he says handing me a five dollar bill that was slightly crumpled.
"No its fine, she paid"
"I want you to take it I know the college struggle, maybe go get some food", he says smiling.
"Fine",I sigh taking it.
"Good, and bye Amelia"
"Bye", I grumble turning to face the rain. I hear the door shut and sigh. I step out when the door opens back up. I turn and look at the guy who had his head stuck out the door.
"Fancy a ride home Amelia?"
"Would you?"
"I'd be happy to.", he says opening his door and letting me in. I walk in and stand there awkwardly looking at him. I see Jordans features better in the light of his house. He had brown hair, beautiful green eyes, a brown and green striped shirt and some jeans. He wasn't bad looking at all.
Seriously why did she want to break up with him?
"Let me go grab my jacket and we'll go.", he states and walks off while I stand there awkwardly. Jordan comes back and hands me a hoodie.
"For you."
"Why?", I ask cautiously taking it.
"Because its raining and your pretty"
"Ok well thanks"
"No problem", he smiles, opening the door.
"After you Amelia"
"Okay", I mumble slightly walking out the door. This was awkward but nice at the same time. I get in his car and he smiles at me.
"Why do I need a hoodie if you're driving me?"
"Well you weren't supposed to figure it out but I was gonna use it as a way to see you again"
"Smooth and over her already?"
"Ehh I wasted eight months on her no use in wasting more time.
"Wow wish I could move on that easily."
"Ok honestly I'll probably cry some but there no use, she's not coming back"
"I'm sorry"
"Its okay, I'll live"
"I'm still sorry though
"Its fine. Let's get you home now though.", he says starting the car. I smile and nod, as Jordan starts driving following my instructions.
