I was in my room still thinking about, well everything, till a certain bitch of a sister started banging on my door.
"CONNOR GET THE FUCK OUT HERE! DINNERS READY!"
"FUCK YOU!" I screamed back brushing a hand through my hair hoping it would calm me down.
All those thoughts were overwhelming and I really did not feel like dealing with my so called 'family'.
Still I heaved a sigh knowing I wouldn't get any food at all tonight if I didn't come down now. My jacket tucked around me comfortably as I gripped the end of the sleeves and walked out my bedroom door and downstairs. They happily chatted away with one another before I came into view.
"Oh look, the freak finally came down for dinner." Zoe said giving me a glare which I returned with a quiet "fuck you." Not really in the mood to yell anymore today.
"Zoe this is the last time Im going to tell you, be nice to your brother!" Mom snapped tiredly, she must've been out doing errands or something. I decided to be a good son for once and try not to argue or anything like that. I sat down in my chair staring at the food in front of me. Damn I'm really hungry.
I started to eat fork fill bites before mom started to ask the usual questions.
"So, how was your day Larry?"
"Stressful like always." I rolled my eyes, always got time to complain i guess.
"How about you Zoe?"
"It was.....okay." She sighed heavily before going back to eating.
"Connor....how was yours?" She sounded reluctant, probably bracing herself to be sad or dissapionted.
"It was good." I gave a small smile to my mom. I know I shouldn't lie to her but she's probably stressed right now.
"How was yours?" I asked back to her.
She gawked at me for awhile but quickly gained her composure and replied with a small "it was good"
We ate the rest of dinner in uncomfortable silence before Larry spoke up.
"Connor I think its best we get you a haircut."
"What the fuck are you talking about! You're not getting anywhere near my hair!"
"Connor.......please, calm down...."
"Im sorry mom but this-" I gestured to Larry "is un fucking believable!"
"Connor we already have an appointment with the barber."
"FUCK YOU!" I stomped off angrily forgetting about my food that I had yet to finish. And soon I was crying the thoughts overwhelming me once again.
