You looked over at your childhood best friend, Corrin. She was training by herself with her back turned to you.You analyzed her sharp movements as she wielded a simple sword. You were amazed at how she maneuvered herself with such speed and strength, how she would grip the weapon and use it to perform such complex attacks.
You remember how you had met her, when you were originally in Nohr before you ran away to Hoshido, you had spent all your time with her. You were just 7 years old, she had just turned 8 years old.
You were walking around the town, looking for your brother, he had to be around here. While you walked past a flower shop with an old woman inside, you noticed how late it was and began to jog, which turned into running.
"Where could he be?" You muttered to yourself, you looked to your left at some more small shops. Not paying attention you hit something, someone.
As you looked to see who it was, you gasped, Princess Corrin.
"Oh! I-I'm so s-sorry princess!" You stuttered, still doubting that you, a small little boy was seeing the high princess of your age, "I wasn't looking where I was-"
"It's okay! I wasn't either!" She exclaimed, a soft smile planted on her face.
"Thank you, Princess Corrin" You said, trying to look the slightest bit proper.
"For what?" She giggled, "Bumping into you?"
You blushed, slightly embarrassed. You caught sideways glances from strangers who stared at the scene between a simple boy and a princess.
"No! No, I bumped into you!" You said, not knowing what to do in this situation, "Not the other way around, Princess Corrin"
"Well if you insist" She giggled, "So what's your name?"
"Me? Oh, I'm y/n"
"That's a nice name!" She smiled, you stretched a matching one on your own face.
"Thanks, although I really like your name"
You smiled thinking of how you two had met again and began to meet up almost every day. You remember how you two had become so close as friends before she turned to Hoshido.
Though you didn't like the thought of her turning to Hoshido, and were completely heartbroken when it happened, you had been taken to Hoshido. Today was the day that you would meet her again, she had no idea that you were here in Hoshido, she hadn't been told and you were so glad to see her.
You inhaled, taking in as much air that you could before you let it out and began to walk. You felt you legs become weaker as you walked closer to her.
"Corrin?" You smiled behind her, waiting for her to turn around, your smile grew bigger as she did.
You watched as her soft face lit up with joy, her eyes filled with surprise as she gasped, dropping her weapon.
"Y/N!" You were overtaken with a tackle hug, you fell down onto the ground, you blushed as you realized that she fell on top of you, still hugging you.
You felt the grip around your neck tighten as you smiled and began to laugh. You felt her giggle and the two of you became a laughing mess.
After the two of you had a laughing episode, you felt her blush as she walked up to you.
She opened her mouth to speak but you cut her off with a hug, pulling her body closer to yours.
"I-" She began but you cut her off again. Damn are you rude.
Though you did cut her off with a kiss on the lips so clap clap good for you buddy.
Sorry if you didn't like this chapter, neither did I.
