Draco and Harry quietly slipped into the Great Hall. They got few stares and sat with their friends at Slytherin table. Harry looked at the Head Table. There was a new teacher. He was wearing a turban around his head. Said teacher looked at Harry and his eyes flashed red. Harry was intrigued. He continued to look at the teacher. Then he looked at Draco.
"I'll be right back" Harry said
"Okay, don't be too long, the sorting will be soon"
"Okay"
Harry stood from the table and made his was towards the teacher.
"Hello" Harry said when he reached the man.
"He-Hello Harry" the man stuttered.
"I noticed that you were a new professor. You know my name, most do, but I don't know yours. May I ask what it is?" Harry asked
"O-Of course. M-My name i-is Quirrel. I'm th-the new Defense A-Against the D-Dark Arts teach-teacher"
"Well, it's very nice to meet you. I look forward to attending your class" Harry smiled
The man surprisingly smiled back.
"Thank y-you, Harry. I look forward t-to having y-you in m-my class" the man said
"I must go back to my table now. The sorting will start soon. Have a nice dinner!" Harry excitedly said and went back to the Slytherin table.
He sat down between Draco and Blaise.
"What were you doing Harry?" Pansy asked from across from him.
"Welcoming the new professor. He's very nice. And he had a stutter. But it suits him, sadly. I wonder what happened. Poor him" Harry rambled.
"What is his name?" Blaise asked
"Professor Quirrel. He's the new DADA teacher. I can't wait to attend his class. We get to learn much more this year than last and I feel like he will be a very good teacher"
"Ravenclaw is showing, Harry" Draco said
Harry and the others laughed. This year was going to be good.
