"Did you see what that dog was standing on?" Was the first thing Harry asked Draco the next morning.
"No, I was too busy staring at the three heads it had! Tell me Harry, what was it standing on that could be more important than three huge heads?" Draco asked, flabbergasted
"There was a door, like one you would pull up for a cellar. Maybe it's guarding something?"
"Oh yeah? Like what?"
"Well, remember that vault that was broken into after school started? Well, a couple of weeks before then, I went to Diagon Alley to buy my school supplies. And I went to Gringotts and ran into Hagrid. We went do to the vaults together and he went to retrieve something out of the vault that was broken into, maybe it was something very important. He said it was for Dumbledore."
"Maybe, why don't you ask Hagrid when you see him next? Might be able to get a couple of answers out of him if you can confuse him enough."
"Yeah, maybe." Harry said
"Come on, we have to get ready. Breakfast and classes start soon." Draco said

As soon as classes were done, Harry went down to Hagrids hut, leaving Pansy and Draco to go to the library.
"Hello Hagrid!" Harry greeted when he knocked on the door of the half-giants house
"'Ello 'Arry! Good te see ya! How can I help ya?"
"Would you happen to know about a three headed dog?"
"Ya mean Fluffy? Ye I know abou' 'im. He is mine afta all!"
"What's he guarding?"
"Somethin' fer one of Professor Dumbledores friend, Nicholas Flamel. Quite expensive thing it is, oh yes!"
"Flamel?"
"Oh no, I've said too much, wa' too much, I'll have ta ask ye ta leave now 'Arry, goodbye!" Hagrid ushered Harry out of his door after the very quick conversation.
Now he just had to find something about Nicholas Flamel.
He immediately went back to the castle to tell his friend of the news. Christmas break started the very next day, so maybe they could find some information about him during the break.
As soon as he entered Slytherin common room, he went up to Pansy and Draco.
"I found some information about the room on the third floor!" He said excitedly
"What did you find?" Draco asked
"The dog is guarding something, something that belongs to Nicholas Flamel. It's very precious and very important. All we have to do is search up Nicholas Flamel and we'll find what the dog is guarding." Harry explained
"Good job Harry! We can all look for what it is during Christmas break." Pansy said
Harry blushed and they all agreed on Pansys idea.
