Chapter 8 (A Date with V Part 1)

Saturday morning. I love Saturday morning. I got up early then I went to the park to walk a bit. Well, not just to walk but to see him, V. I hope I can see him again.

Then my hopes were right. I saw him sitting in a bench near a big tree. When he saw me, he smiled. He waved at me. I smiled back.

"I thought I will never see you again." We both said in chorus that made as laugh.

"I’m staying here for awhile." He said.

"oh. That means we will see each other for awhile too." I joked.

He just smiled and stared at me.

We were silent for awhile.

"You’re pretty." He uttered that made me blush.

"I never thought you’re a liar." I retorted.

"No, really, you are pretty and cute too." He said defensively.

"then, thank you." Then I remembered what Baekhyun said back then.

"You’re pretty, just the way you are."

It made my heart beat faster.

"I wish I can ask you out tonight." He said while looking afar.

I was shocked for a bit while. It was the first time someone asked me out.

"I don’t know, i’ts the first time someone asked me before." I muttered.

"I’ts my first time to asked someone too." He said.

"You never got a girlfriend before ?" I asked in disbelief. A handsome person like him, never got a girlfriend ? unbelievable.

"Yeah. What about you." He asked.

"None." I said.

"I thought you know, Baekhyun. You look like a couple together."

"Me with Baekhyun ? of course not ! not even in my dreams." I said which made him laugh.

"By the way, sorry for what happened last time. Baekhyun is just a paranoid moron. Never mind him."

"No, it was ok. So you wanna go out tonight ? we, the BTS will have a presentation in a park near Dongdaemun."

"Well ok, what time ?" I asked.

"I’ll pick you up for about 7 ‘cause we will starts at 8. I’m going now, see you later." He waved at me as he walk away.

"Bye." I said as I walk home.

Someone just ask me on a date. He just ask me on a date. Can you believe it ? for 24 years of existence here in South Korea, nobody asked me on a date. Now, someone asked me and not just someone else, he is V.

I’m sooo happy.

"Where were you Shin ?" I heard Baekhyun said as he was drying his wet hair.

"Just walking for abit. What the hell do you care Baek ?" I said.

He just shook his head.

"Baekhyun, I’m going out tonight."

"Why ?"

"V asked me on a date. BTS will be performing tonight." I said confidently because I know its ok for him. He never liked me, remember ?

"What ? V asked you on a date ?" he said while looking very pissed. What happened to him all of the sudden ?
