Last Chapter: The Wedding

"My princess, you better get dressed now. Jeju Island is far away so better be early." My mom entered my room and then sat beside me in the bed. I was packing up my things for our wedding in Jeju Island. Baekhyun and his parents went ahead of us cause they will look at the place first.

"Ok Mom. Almost there."

I was finishing my packs when I noticed that my mom was staring at me. I stopped and look at her.

"What’s the matter mom? Something wrong in my face?"

"No" she shook her head and smiled. "I just felt that it was as if yesterday."

"What?"

"I remembered clearly as if it was yesterday. You were still young and innocent but now, you are finally getting married. I’m just not used to it… it feels like my princess isn’t a small princess anymore. you are a Queen now." She said as I saw her crying in happiness.

"Mom… why are you crying?"

"I’ts just that… I will miss you… I never thought that someone else is gonna snatch our only princess from us…. But I’m happy dear… Finally, you are getting married tomorrow… I love you." She wiped her tears away.

"You are so overreacting mom. First, I’m not gonna die. Second, I will only get married and you will see me very often. Third, even if you always tease me, I love you too Mom." I then hugged her.

I really love my Mom.

-IN JEJU ISLAND-

"Shin!" I just arrived and then he already saw me. Ugh. Here we go again~

"Wae?" I asked him.

"uhhh… are you an apple?" he smiled.

I cocked my brows "Boh?" I said as I walk away from him. I thought he was gonna say ‘I miss you’… tsk. Tsk.tsk.

"because YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYES" He then winked.

"Are you high?"

"wasn’t it effective?"

"What effective?"

"I thought you were gonna like what I said. Well, when Kris hyung said it to one of his fans, she fainted. How come you look irritated?" he said cluelessly.

"Maybe that fan was anemic or she has a brain disorder. What? Apple of my eyes? Does that even make sense? Why do we need apple in our eyes? We can’t see then right?"

He just shook his head and smile he then encircled his arms to my shoulders as we walk together.

"I wonder how you became a doctor when you can’t even understand a simple idiom."

That day he showed me the place.

It was simple yet elegant.

There were many hawthorn and lily of valley flowers (my favourite ones.) and the theme is silver and gold.

As I look at the reception hall, it was as if a castle, well when I was young, I told Baekhyun that I want an elegant- palace-like-wedding but I never thought he still remembered it.

The whole place was glisterring even from afar.

"Like it?" he asked me

"Yes. Thank you."

"I arranged everything in this wedding according to all that you’ve said to me when we were still young."

I just smiled in return.
