I was in darkness again...

Pitch blackness. I couldn't see anything...

My hands were spread before me, trying to feel something...ANYTHING!

I could hear nothing...I felt nothing...I SAW NOTHING!

I tried calling out, but no sound came from my mouth. Panic filled my chest, and my lungs to devoid themselves from the air that they needed.

Suddenly, red filled my vision. I felt something sticky hit my eyes, and I tried to wipe it away. A feeling of relief washed over me. I could see again. I looked down at my hand to see the substance which had temporarily blinded me. The feeling of relief crashed away as I saw what it was...

BLOOD! And it wasn't mine...

My slain brother's laid around me, covered with each other's life-giving substance. Sinister laughter filled my ears. Shredder misted before, claws out. He was walking towards me slowly, though he seemed to be floating. He was raising his weapon ready to strike. I tried to move and flee, but I couldn't move. My feet stayed planted to where they stood.

My brothers' blood swirled about my legs and caused me to fall back on my shell. I grunt escaped me and and the blood covered me except my head. It turned black and hardened in a shell, like a tomb, incapacitating my whole body.

I saw the ghost imagines of my brothers fighting the Shredder. Their battle cries rang throughout the room, but their death cries soon followed. I kept watching as they repeated they rose from where they lay and fight. I kept watching them die. They kept dying and I wasn't able to help them. The floor was stained with red as they finally laid still.

Shredder's laughter echoed as he finished off my younger brother, yet Mikey didn't cry out this. He just laid there if merely sleeping. Raph and Don were the same, as if they were all just taking a nap. Shredder stepped over their bodies, walking towards me. He mashed his foot in my chest, crushing my chest. I felt my ribs crack and my lungs were devoid from air completely. Oroku Saki raised his claws above him and brought it down towards head...

"Gah!"

A strangled gasp escaped my lips as I flew from my pillow. The usual comfortable blankets were ripped off as I sat up. Clutching my chest, I tried my best to breath while rummaging through my side door.

Where is it?! Come on! Where is it? I panic.

My fingers hit a familiar tube and I tried sighing in relief, though it was hard for me right now. I willed my mind to calm down. Taking a couple weak breaths, I raised the emergency inhaler to my lips. PUFF. . .PUFF. . .PUFF. The familiar hiss was a comforting sound to hear as my brothers' cries faded. I coughed, realizing I took it too quickly. I breathed slower, and took more puffs. My chest started loosen, and I sighed in relief. After a few moments, I could better, but the feeling of his foot was still there. At least I was breathing properly.

I leaned back on my bed in relief. My asthma had gotten worse since I faced Shredder's lackeys during the Utrom invasion. Donnie said its because of the repeated pounding on my chest left severe scar tissue on my lungs and diaphragm. Before it, I rarely had attacks and I could control it with breathing exercises and deep meditation. Now it seemed rare that I could catch a good breath. Only Donnie and Master Splinter knew about my asthma. I think Raph had had an idea what was going on with me, but he didn't say anything to me about. So I just assumed that he didn't know.

A knock sounded on my door. My breath hitched in my throat making me choke.

Jeez, the lack of sleep is getting to me!
