Thunder sounded across the dark stormy sky of New York City. Wet rain dripped off of Tiger Claw's snout. He was standing at the top of Shredder's tall building, deep in thought. His arms and part of his head was covered in bandages, which were coming loose due to becoming soaked in the pouring rain. His one yellow eye was closed as if he were sleeping, except he wasn't. His arms were crossed as usual, but not in his relaxed style. His body was tense and his posture was poised ready to move at a moment's notice.
Suddenly, lightning streaked the surface of the night, striking close to the roof where he was standing. Still, the tiger did not move. His eye opened and his features seemed to be lost in thought. His blue scarf came unraveled, but he barely noticed as he unfolded his arms. The last piece of Leo's sword glistening in the rain as he held it in his paws. The fallen leader's mask tails were wrapped around since the blade was still sharp for some reason. It too was soaked from the rain, and had become unraveled as he laid clutched his claws around it. The former assassin stared into the reflection of the once powerful weapon as his mind went back to the fight that had almost ended his Master's life.
Tiger Claw POV:
The blue banded cub had shouted in Japanese for Shredder to stop his actions in slaying the rat. I felt satisfaction as I saw my Master about slay his foe. The turtle was struggling so much, trying to reach his rat father. I felt a small forgotten twinge of guilt, remembering how I had been in this same position about this cub's age, if not younger. I don't what came over me, but I had felt this guilty feeling before, when this little cub was being beaten before my eyes during the Kraang invasion. Mercifully, I tightened my grip, trying to make this one called, Leonardo, pass out so he wouldn't see his father figure being slain before his eyes.
Suddenly, his aura seemed to change. White light erupted from his katana on the floor and his eyes went white (picture Aang in Avatar state, and then Leo's chi symbols from 2003 version) and swirls and dragon-like designs appeared on his body. He seem to slip from my grasp like butter, and suspended himself in the air for moment. I squinted against the white light surrounding him and the air around him seemed to explode. I felt my body being pushed from the force of it. A pain spread through the back of my head, as I felt myself crash against the wall. My whole body fell into shock as the aura seem to dissipate as the turtle returned to normal. The designs on his skin disappeared and he only took a moment to find himself as he sprang into action.
His previous injuries didn't seem to bother him as he took out my master. He pushed the rat away from Shredder's reach and they became locked in combat. The young one subdued Shredder and started beating his face in. His fists grew red from my master's blood, but I couldn't seem to move. It was like my whole body was drained of energy from the strange force Leonardo had let out.
Suddenly, his fist slipped off the Kuro Kabuto and he twisted his body. Shredder took hold of his hand and threw the young turtle across the platform. He hit the huge throne, and I was sure I heard him gasp. Shredder moved like a snake as he grabbed Leonardo's throat. The blue-clad turtle choked as I saw the hand tighten his hold. The turtle twisted and kicked his lower body in futile attempts to loosen. Shredder said something, but I couldn't make it out. My ears were ringing as I slowly started to regain my senses. My vision blurred and I just saw the cloudy figures of the turtle and my master. It was like two angry clouds going at each other as Leonardo freed himself. I heard a soft noise and the figures went at each other again.
It was a few moments before the ringing stopped and my vision became clear again. I was lying on my side now, and some energy was coming back. I managed to bring myself up halfway before I felt a huge vibration on the ground. My head snapped up and I saw my master pinning the young cub on the floor. Cracks streaked on the ground around him, and blood dripped from his mouth. Shredder must have broken some of the young one's ribs, cause he was wheezing and gasping for breath. It sounded like he was in a lot of pain and when he coughed, droplets of blood stained Saki's helmet.
