Chapter 7: A Father Saved, A Brother Lost

Leo POV.

As soon as Raph hit the floor, I sprang into action. I jumped high above the Foot bots and Naruto ran on top of their heads. I landed a front kick on Rahzar's head. He flew away from the impact of the kick and knocked several bots away. He landed with a Splash! in one of the tide pools. He ended up knocking Fish Face in with him. I quickly moved him away from the thrashing wet minions, but we became surround by Foot Bots again.

"Where do they kept coming from?!" I said aloud. 

My answer was before as they streamed from the dark door way. If I could get the door closed then I can kept them from coming in. I pulled my unconscious brother on my back and zipped through the black sea of bots. Their weapons barely missed me by a hairs length as I zoomed with unlikely speed for my sore body. Not one of us would come out of this fight without some minor or even so major injuries. 

If you ever make it out at all. My fear spoke to me. I pushed the thought away and tried to stay focused at the task at hand. I heard Raph moan from the top of my shell. His body twitched as he came to, and he rubbed the back of his head. I almost to the doors now, so I shook him. 

"Raph! Wake Up! I need your help with the doors," I shouted at him.

I felt him push off my shell and he landed in front me. He didn't need me to explain what my plan was because he figured it out by looking at the rows of ninja appearing from the large door. He took one glance launched himself with a yell into the fray of ninja.Even though he lost his weapons, he was still a formidable opponent. I jumped in after him, but something heavy brought me down mid-jump. Tiger Claw's scent filled my nose as his body weight came crashing down on me. My chest hit the ground hard and I heard a soft crack. Pain shot in plastron as my ribs fractured. 

No! It's coming true! My nightmare!

Filled with horror, I struggled to get the huge cat off me. He slapped my katana away, causing my wrist to bend back way further than it was suppose too. Luckily, it didn't break, but it still hurt. Adrenaline rushed through my body and I kicked him in the stomach. 

"Oof!" 

The feline drew back from the blow and I slipped out from under him. Raph had managed to get one of the doors closed, but he was struggling to close the other one. He was kicking and slashing about with un-ninja like grace as he tried to get the Foot bots away. 

"Raph! Stay there, I'm coming!" I yelled.

He gave a wry look.

"It's not like I'm going any where Fearless!" 

I launch myself from the floor and swept several bots away from my remaining swords. Using the power from my jump, I knocked the door shut with a very loud BANG! Raph cried out in shock and I grabbed him by the arm to keep him from falling. 

"Move Raph, move!" I yelled as I pulled him away.

We locked arms and I lifted him around and around, knocking the remaining Foot away from around this. I felt my ribs move, but I ignored the pain. Raph kick the last Foot bot away, before dropping to the ground. We both were sore and nearly spent of energy, but we didn't have time to take a break. Mikey and Donnie still needed our help. 

"Leo! Raph! Help! Sensei's down!" Mikey's voice rang out.

I looked to where Master Splinter was fighting Oroku Saki. Sensei on his knees, blocking his former friends attacks with just his right arm. His left was hanging loosely beside him, sticking in an awkward direction, telling me it was broken. His fur was matted with sweat and I could hear him panting for breath. I could tell Splinter had done a number to Shredder though, cause several pieces of his armor where missing and he was favoring his right leg.
