Setsuko Midorima. The nameSetsuko had the meaning of The child of snow as she was born during a snowy day.

"It's a lovely name,"said Tsukiko , cooed as craddled the newborn in her arms

Midorima leaned over and kissedher forehead, whispering softly such that only she could hear, "She's beautiful,like her mother . I love you, and I love everything about you."

He saw Tsukiko'sface flush and the corners of her lips curled into a shy smile. Midorimagrinned widely and kissed her again before moving over to Setsuko. The babygirl had born on the same day of Kasumi's wedding . 

Midorima had called it anearly Christmas gift while Tsukiko called it early Christmas pains. Apparently,the contractions while giving birth really left an impact of her. She correctedthat she loved Setsuko with the whole of her heart despite the pain she gaveher.

Tsukiko rolled up hersleeves as she tried to bathe her daughter in the bathtub. The five year oldwas getting too excited for her own good as she splashed at the soapy water inthe tub and squealed when her mother ran the water over her head. Setsuko loved  bath time. And she loved winter,always asking Tsukiko to take her out to the courtyard to play in the snow. Thechild wasn't the least afraid of the cold that came with winter and loved tosnuggle up with her parents in the kotatsu.

Setsuko didn't speak much,a trait from her father. The young Midorima had her father's green hair, atrait that is famous in the Midorima family .The 5 year old also had his eyes and lips but she had her mother's face ingeneral, and Midorima thought that she was beautiful. Looking at her, he feltas if he was looking at a younger Tsukiko - minus the green hair

Same goes for Tsukiko. Whenevershe looked in Setsuko's eyes, the very same ones that Midorima had, shecouldn't help but feel a wave of affection for both her daughter and herhusband. Those were lovely eyes.

Just outside the door, Tsukiko heard Midorima's voice calling her name, "Tsukiko... Are you okay inthere?"

"Yeah,"Tsukiko shouted back, "Just give me a minute! Your daughter's refusing toget out of the bath tub." In response, Setsuko splashed the water wildly,getting her mother wet as well.

" mou ... Setsuko ...you're making me wet too! " pouted Tsukiko while Setsuko squeled indelight

She heard Midorima chuckling and the door opened, letting in a small gust of wind that made both Setsuko and Tsukiko shiver. Midorima edged in and eyed his girls cautiously.Noting a still soapy Setsuko and a dripping wet Tsukiko, Midorima smiled and roared, "Alright now! Time to get out of the tub! Uncle Takao will be hereany minute now with Ryousuke , so we're gonna have to get you dressed up,alright?"

Setsuko, upon hearing the name of Takao's son, jumped out of the bathtub and yelled, "I wanna go outside!I wanna play with Ryou-kun!"

Tsukiko chuckled at the sight of her naked child and wrapped a towel around her,"You're not going out till you get dressed, young lady."

Suddenly, Midorima's mother, came over and called out from behind the door, her voice teasing, "I'll help to dress her up, Tsukiko . I'm sure you have other things to worry about right now."

Tsukiko sighedand smiled widely at the voice of her mother in law  " Thank you , mom "

Tsukiko openedthe door and let Setsuko jump into the arms of her grandmother as she told her all about her plans for today. The usually quiet little girl had become excited and chatty today, thanks to a certain someone's son. Midorima better take note about being cautious whenever his girl is around with him in the near future 

Midorimawalked over to an exhausted Tsukiko and wrapped his arms around her waist

Tsukiko felther cheek burn pink. " Shin-chan .. I'm soaking ...i need to changemy clothes "

"I can help with that," Midorima cocked his brow up suggestively.

Tsukiko chuckled and felt her cheeks burn, "Dream on."

"I'll do that," Midorima nodded wisely. He then quickly pulled Tsukiko into his arms again and planted a kiss on her gaping lips. It took her breath away, and Tsukiko felt like she had been transported back to their dating days. It was like the honeymoon period between them had never faded. Tsukiko still felt very weak in the knees when Midorima  flirted with her or glanced towards her. She was still very much in love. And some how through the kiss, she knew that he felt the same as well.

Just when the kiss was about toget more passionate , a soft cried could be heard from their room.

" looks like someone isawake" said Tsukiko

" sigh .. I'll go."said Midorima as he reluctantly let go of Tsukiko as he made his way towards the source of the cry . Tsukiko just let out a small chuckled as she watched her husband walked away .

As Midorima arrived at hisbedroom , he made his way towards the cradle located near to the bed .

" doushita no Koutaro ?" said Midorima sweetly as he picked up his sobbing almost 2 year old son.

Midorima Koutaro . While his big sister setsuko may look a little mix of their mother and father , Koutaro is a total copy of his father . His hair , eyes , his everything . Tsukiko always complained about Midorima's gene being more dominant than hers . Neverthe less , she loved Koutaro just the same .

" there there .. "said Midorima as he patted his son in order to calm him down and it work .Koutaro's cry ceased 

and he started to mumbling his baby words towards Midorima

" Let's go and take you toyour mother shall we ?"

Upon hearing the word 'mother', Koutaro squealed happily. Yep, he's mummy's little  boy.

As night falls , Setsuko insisted she wanted to sleep in with her parents . Both Midorima and Tsukiko knew they couldn't resist her , and so they allowed her .

" She fell asleep"said Midorima as he sofly cupped her daughter's face .

"yeah .. and why aren't you asleep ?" said Tsukiko as she playfully put up a mad face as face her 2 year old son in her arms

Koutaro let out baby talk before started to yawn himself . Midorima let out a small chuckled while closing Koutaro's small mouth with his finger

" looks like someone needs to sleep too" said Midorima

and it wasn't long before Koutaro fell asleep in Tsukiko's arm .

" hehe ..Kou-chan is so cute " said Tsukiko

" Tsukiko .."Midorima called out

" hmm ? "

" Thank you . For being with me and for giving me beautiful children " said Midorima as He look ather into the eyes

" It was me who wassuppose to ..."

Tsukiko wasn't able to finishher sentence when Midorima planted a soft kiss on her lips .

As the two embrace each other , in the falling snow , hurting each other feelings , Theyhad no idea what was in store for them in years to come. None of themrealised that fifteen years down the road, Fate had brought them together inthe most twisted yet sweetest way .Yes, Fate isn't something set in stone.
