Twist of fate

Chapter 2

It was rather a tiring day for Tsukiko. An hour flight from Osaka to Tokyo plus the addition of another 2 hours from the Narita Airport to Kasumi's apartment really sending her off edge 

" You can have the room on the right. Your stuff is already there " said Kasumi cheerfully 

" ah ..arigato " it was visible on her face that she was tired . She was never good with long hours of travelling . She get carsick easily 

Once Tsukiko entered the room , she quickly lie down on the bed . And before Kasumi was able to make any remarks , she was fast asleep 

" oh well .. I can always talk to her later " said Kasumi as she quietly exit the room

It was almost dinner time by the time Tsukiko awake from her slumber . She made her way to the living room only to see Kasumi playing of her favourite otome games . 

" oh , you're awake !" said Kasumi 

" yeah .. good morning?" said Tsukiko as she rubbed her eyes sleepily 

" its already night though " Kasumi giggled 

" I'm taking this " said Tsukiko as she grabbed one of the juice in the refrigerator 

" sure . Tomorrow is your first day right ? "

" ah .. " 

" aren't you exited ? " 

" is there a need to? " 

Funny . Kasumi thought . It's cute to see both of them giving the same response over the same question. 

" How's Haruka ? " asked Tsukiko 

Haruka was their good friend . In fact all three of them were once in the same high school . 

" currently expecting her 2nd child ~ she's so active I tell you " said Kasumi while grinning 

" and she was the one who said that she wont get married before us " said Tsukiko 

Both of them talked about the past . They laughed about the funny memories they shared . but Kasumi noticed something odd about Tsukiko . Never did once she touched the topic of a certain guy . Was she avoiding it or was it her own imagination? It must be her own imagination 

" I guess Im off to bed again ? I dont wanna to be late for my first day " said Tsukiko 

" hai ..oyasumi " smiled Kasumi

The next day , It was Tsukiko's first day and as instructed by the director , Kasumi accompany her to the Director's room .

" I'm sure both of you will get along quite well. " said the Director happily 

" ah .. I hope so too" said Midorima 

There was a knock on the door indicating that the new doctor has arrived 

" ah ..come in" said the Director 

Once door opens and reveals the person behind . Midorima was in a shock. He knew that face far too well . 

" ah .. Dr.  Minagawa Tsukiko  it was a pleasure having you here " said the Director , really was happy to welcome her 

" the pleasure is mine , sir " reply Tsukiko with a smile 

" allow me to introduce you to my assistant . He is young but he has what it takes to lead the hospital. Midorima Shintaro  . Dr. Midorima , I want you to meet my daughter, Tsukiko. The next heir of the Minagawa group. Im sure you both will get along well and will lead this hospital into its greater success in the future  "

Could it be ? - Thought Tsukiko 

Both Midorima's and Tsukiko's eyes meet . and they stare at each other in a total silence 

What will this meeting bring them to ? No one knows .
