6..

I missed my 10 flight.

I should have seen it coming I mean, they were away at some show. Meanwhile I wasn't even able to call a cab or uber because I was knocked out on painkillers.

They felt bad. They meaning Ian, Fauni, and Carti. Which is why after their show, Carti brought me some togo food from some Atlanta chicken spot they went to.

"Thanks." I said, accepting the plastic bag with "thank you" printed on it. I tell him as I set it on the dresser, not even hungry even though I haven't eaten since breakfast.

Maybe its something about coming near death that hinders your apetite.

Meanwhile I was in the bathroom, waiting on him to leave so I could continue to struggle removing my pants for my shower.

I guess he could see me from his view, because he came closer until he was in the doorframe.

"Is that what the crying was? Ian owes me $10. He thought you were crying about wanting to go home." I rolled my eyes at the childish two.

"You know if youre gonna be here can you at least fucking help?" I was pissy. It was the pain. And the oxycontin that wasnt strong enough.

"Sheesh." He said coming closer. I unbuckled my pants. Pointing to my Cam Walker.

"There's a clasp. Just undo it." He nodded. Bending down to take off the walker.

It opened up, making the pain soar to a high level. That wasnt even the worse part.

I hate skinny jeans. I tugged at the sides, trying to wiggle the denim down my legs. Carti watched, waiting for the part when I would need assistance.

The pants were now at my calfs. I lifted my good leg and thats when he pulled that pant off. I repeated the process. But this leg called for him to be very careful. But that didnt matter, it still hurt like hell.

Now I was left in the gauze that had been wrapped down the length of my stiches.

"Thank you." I said, he nodded before leaving the bathroom.

I took that as cue to remove my sweat shirt and tank top. Now I was nearly bare. I started the shower water, checking for how hot it was.

He came back though, and I was so happy I didnt drop my undergarments just yet.

He had the plastic bag my food was in in his hands. That's when I realized what he was doing. I forgot I have to cover my leg when it gets wet, or else healing would be a lot more difficult since the stitches I have are meant to dissolve as it heals. Touching water would cause them to dissolve too quickly.

I don't look down. Because I havent seen my leg since I had a bone popping out of it.

And im afraid that bone is still popping out.

"What does it look like." He looks up at me. And I only see that because I peeked out my eyes.

"16 stitches, huh?" That's all he says. I look down at him just as he ties the plastic bag around my leg. "You sure you'll be able okay in there?"
