239 words, weak ass filler. oops
"ty?"
tyler had already made dinner but wasn't hungry. he left riley's food on the table. he was lying on the bed wearing socks, sweatpants, and a big hoodie. the heating hadn't been fixed yet. riley didn't have time and he was never home anyways. tyler was fine.
"bedroom," tyler said loudly.
"hey," riley came into the bedroom, dropping his backpack into the corner, "we're getting a new neighbor."
"i saw."
"was that attitude?"
"no."
"tyler."
"i'm sorry."
"good," riley took a deep breath, "i invited him over for dinner tomorrow."
"why?"
"because i don't have any friends besides you," riley pulled his shirt over his head and walked to the closet, "and i think i deserve someone else to talk to besides my boyfriend."
tyler always felt strange when riley called him his boyfriend. he didn't know why. "oh, good."
"good what?" riley pulled a crewneck sweatshirt onto his torso.
"that you're making friends," tyler pulled on his hoodie strings nervously; he didn't know what mood riley was in, "what was his name?"
"josh? i think that's what it is. he looks kind of weird but i'll take what i can get," riley shrugged, "where's my food?"
"on the table," tyler said, "i'm not hungry. i'm kind of tired."
"it's six."
"i'm sorry."
"i'll go eat," riley said, "sleep if you want, its a little too fucking early."
tyler preferred passive aggression over the other kind.
