Yasuko's POV

I sighed and mentally thanked Irina as she stepped forward answering first, "Of course not, If my profession has taught me anything, it's that plans almost never work. There are many variables to take into account and a many what if's. A good assassin must have a backup plan for any moment," Irina said.
"I see," Koro-sensei replied with, "And you, Yasuko?"
Great, now it's my turn...but what do I say? I can't possibly top that! I look down at my feet as I stumbled to find the right words, "Um, Irina is right. Having a backup pan...I mean plan! Could possibly save your life? I-I mean like what if during a mission something unexpected happens you'll know what to do next or something like that," I said as I felt my cheeks becoming hot. Ah, I completely messed that up didn't I? That was embarrassing as hell but...this whole topic, no this whole conversation sounds somewhat familiar. "Mr Karasuma, what's your opinion on this?" Koro-sensei asked Karasuma. "When teaching knife combat, the first strike is not the only move of importance. The first move is important but so is the follow-up, you can never assume that the first strike will definitely hit. What if your opponent is trained? You'll have to be ready to deliver the next blow with just as much skill as you did with the first, or better yet, carry a second blade," Karasuma said confidently. Second blade? A pool of memories flooded through my senses leaving my mind now a bit heavy. The second Blade huh~ wow that word holds a lot of memories hahaha!! Are we gonna be learning about it today? Ugh...remembering back on when I first found out about it makes me wanna cringe. It was Sister Irina that taught me...but well its thanks to her that I'm much stronger than before, I'm thankful. "Um...Sir? If you're trying to make a point, I think we're missing it," Maehara said to Koro-sensei also dragging me out of my thoughts. As I looked up I saw that our teacher suddenly began spinning in a circle. "Listen to your teachers well boys and girls, backup plans are the cornerstones of confident. A confident assassin is a successful one. The same goes for life in general, you thrive for assassination but not academics? Did you hear the old saying right? "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" well, that's exactly what you all are doing here!" He said as he started spinning faster and faster until he created what felt like a mini tornado. Everyone had put their arms up to block all the dust blowing at us. What is he doing?! I thought worriedly. "Suppose I left the classroom for good? Suppose another assassin managed to do me in. What will you thrive for then? Or are you satisfied with being an outcast? A word of advice from your Koro-sensei, you walk a fine line....Those who can't wield a second blade, aren't worthy of being Assassins." I suddenly froze feeling Deja Vu, Wait...did someone says that exact same sentence to me once before also? Strange...I can't exactly remember. Either way...Koro-sensei~ it seems you're still underestimating me a tad bit. A small smile crept up my lips as I felt the want to prove myself worthy even more. My fists curled up in the palm of my hands unknowingly until I felt someone's eyes on me. I glance to the source and found Irina looking at me straight in the eyes. I instinctively took a step back as I saw for a split second Irina's turn from deadly serious to a soft and innocent look. She noticed my stare and blew a kiss as if nothing was wrong. What was that? Was I just seeing things? Still slightly concerned, I looked away but a violent wind rushed though, pushing me back a few steps. Confused and utterly surprised I snap back to see Koro-sensei spinning faster and faster so much that he created what now looked like a mini tornado. What the hell happened here?! *shakes head* I need to focus! Is Koro-sensei actually trying to kill us?!?! Ugh, this wind is too strong! Right after my last thought, everything abruptly just stopped, silence welcomed my ears as the wind calmed instantly and the dust started to dissipate in the air. Slowly I squinted my eyes open and was instantly shocked. "T-the whole yard is gone! How the hell did he do that?!" I said out loud unknowingly. "There, our school-yard needed a good levelling not to mention a few weeds cleared," he said in response. The only thing the class and I could do was stand there dumbfounded. "I'm a superior life form capable of destroying the earth, as you can see flattening the little corner of it was easy as pie. Therefore, show me your backup plans, your second blades! Otherwise, I'll just have to conclude that none of you assassins is worthy of me. Another thing, I won't just leave this as it is, oh no...I'll flatten this entire campus as I go if you cannot acquire it." What...Is he joking?! "A second blade? Just how long do we have?" Nagisa asked. "Not long, you have until the end of tomorrow," Koro-sensei said smiling. "What!?" a bunch of students said at once. "Midterms are upon us, and I want all of you to place within the top 50 on midterms tomorrow. "A-are you serious? All of us? Don't you think this is a bit sudden?" Nagisa asked confused. "Either you realise it or not, you've been sharpening those second blades all along children. The main campus relies on dull teaching, I, on the other hand, do not. Go in with your heads held high, and remember that you are assassins...You are E-CLASS!!" Koro-sensei said leaving everyone speechless. A wicked smile crept up my mouth as I looked at this insane teacher of ours. This guy I swear...but too bad for u though, I've had this second blade of mine sharpened my whole life~ all I need now is a target. Weird...I feel a bit excited for this even though normally I wouldn't. I feel like I'm gonna enjoy this~
