Yasuko POV
*sigh* I didn't just do that did I? First I find out that I'm going to the worst class in the school, and now I embarrass myself in front of everyone by falling flat on my face. Let me add a cherry on top. I slowly gett up from the ground and on to my feet. Not good...I can feel the tears building up...I want to cry so much cause that fall really hurt but I cant. I gotta show these kids that Im better than them. With that, I walked towards my desk in the back of the room with a nonchalant look on my face, all eyes staring at me. "Alright then, shall we back to the lesson?" said Korosensi. I sit down at my desk and stare at the yellow monster holding a piece of chalk with one of his tentacles. So this guy is my target...is he really the thing that destroyed 70 % of the moon? Does he really intend on doing the same to the earth by the end of the school year? I began to lose focus of the lesson and think more of the serious thing, but as I did so, I started to get nervous all of a sudden. Realizing that this could be the real deal here. I shake my head vigorously. Why am I nervous? I can do this...with or without these guys help. I come back to reality and shift back into focusing to the lesson being taught. But, since I already knew more than half of the stuff they were teaching, my mind zoned back out quickly.
Time Skip ~
It was break time and everyone was talking to their little clique. That is...everyone but me to be specific. Well, I'm fine with nobody wanting to talk to me. I'll be able to focus more on the task at hand right now. Now, all I need is to come up with a strategy. As I concentrated on coming up with a plan I notice someone from the third row, nearest to the window, slowly get up and walk towards my direction. Huh?...Is she walking towards me? Nah...can't be. Before I could re-think the girl appeared in front of my desk and spoke to me, "Hi" they said. I raise my eyes slowly thoughts filling my head. Someone actually wants to talk to me?! Hold up! I'm not ready for this yet! What do I say to her?! The girl had dull brown hair and purple smiling eyes. Before I could stop myself I spoke clumsily. "Uh-um h-hi!" I said with my head slightly facing down to hide the blush creeping all the way up to my ears. Crap, I never talked to someone my own age before. I'm such an idiot, I should have played some of those high school simulators last night or at least read some slice of life manga's so I'd be more prepared. My eyes snap back to the girl as I hear her start to speak again. "My name is Yuzuki Fuwa, its nice to meet you!" Come on Yasuko! Say something back. "Im Yasu-k-k-ko Nanase" I said quickly with my voice in a low tone. This is going terrible I can't even look her in the eyes while talking to her! "That fall you took at the beginning of class sure looks like it must have hurt, you okay?" she said with a worried look oh her face. Was she worried about me?
