Shui Long and her guardian exited the portal, now looking very different in their attires they had worn in the celestial garden.

Her guardian, Kenneth Uy has a short gelled hair and wore glasses. He wore a suit and a tie like an ordinary business man. Shui Long on the other hand, is wearing a black top with faded denim jacket and jeans. Her wavy hair is set loose like an ocean full of waves.

It seems like they’ve landed on what seemed like an alley. Shui Long continued to walk until she reached the busy streets and recognized that they are somewhere in Makati. She was still perturbed by what her brother told her that she didn’t noticed her guardian who was right behind her, was asking a question.

“Mistress, Are you all right? You look ashen.”

“It’s nothing Kenneth. It’s just that this world is getting dangerous for me to live.” Shui Long turned to look at her guardian. “We are already at the mortal realm. You shouldn’t forget that my identity has to be hidden or else someone might do something to me like what happened to Earth.”

“I won’t let anyone harm you. Mistress.” Shui Long stared hard at Kenneth that he gulped and said. “Mystina.”

“Myst will do fine.”

The guardian nodded and then looked at his watch. It seems that lunch break is already gone.

“Mystina,” Myst glared at him again. “I mean Myst. Do forgive me if it takes too long for me to pronounce your name. I have to go to work. I’m sure my subordinates are now fretting why I’m still not there.”

Myst nodded. She understands the urgency needed in the mortal realm. “Tell them you got caught up in traffic.”

Kenneth nodded. “Wherever or whenever you need me, just call. Remember, I’m always available for you; especially now that your life is in danger.”

Myst understood the meaning of Kenneth’s words. He meant that as her guardian, he’ll always be available for her.

“Shall I escort you to your headquarters?”

“No need. Let’s just part ways when we cross the street near your office.”

As they went to the pedestrian lane, they saw a person dressed and cloaked in black at the other side of the lane.

“That guy is definitely the one who killed my brother. Who would dare dress like that in broad daylight?”

“Cosplayers?” Kenneth received another heated glance that he shrugged. “Who knows there might be an event near here that’s why he’s dressed like that.”

“Then let’s just ask him.” Myst said as she pushed through the crowd.

The cloaked guy noticed Myst approaching him and started to run.

“Kenneth.” Myst shouted.

Kenneth nodded and started running together with Myst to chase the culprit.

The urgency to nab the guy is pulsing in lady dragon’s veins that Kenneth warned his mistress. “Be careful, mistress. We don’t know if he’s capable of harming the civilians.”

“I know.” Myst said underneath her breath. She couldn’t berate Kenneth at a pressing time such as this. “But we have to get him while I still have my powers.”

"Do you think he knows your weakness?"

Myst frowned. "I sure hope not. Oh, look! He's making a turn towards that giant fountain."

"Mistress, this is the Peninsula Manila."

"Enough with the lecture. We have to get him."

When they reached the fountain's corner, their suspect disappear.
