Myst went towards a huge white building. Inside this office building is where Myst works. It may look like a regular business building but in reality; this is the base of the covert organization, Danger Crosser.

Myst continued to walk, not stopping to any greeting or to chat at the reception area. She headed straight for the elevators where there are a few people waiting to get a lift.

There are eight elevators on the lobby but she refused to take any ride whenever there are people occupying it and she was waiting on a certain elevator that is on the far right to be empty or unoccupied because this certain elevator is the only one that can access Danger Crosser’s base.

When finally no one was taking this certain elevator, she went inside and ignored a few people running as they tried to catch a lift. When the door closes, she punched in a few elevator numbers as if she was punching a code.

Then the speaker inside the elevator asked to state her name.

“Dragon,” She replied.

“Voice recognition 100%. Please position your eyes to the retina scanner.” It said.

The retina scanner appeared at the bottom of the elevator buttons that Myst have to kneel down to scan her eyes.

"Retina scan complete. Where do you wish to land?”

“F-361,”

When the elevator door opened, she briskly walked at the huge corridor filled. She took turns at every corner in this confusing maze filled with same coloured doors like she knew where she was heading.

When she approached the similarly steel door, she raised her hand as if to knock the door. But before her knuckles reached the door; a voice was heard behind it although it was faint. It was still audible.

“Come in, Dragon. I was expecting you.”

Myst came in, unsurprised by the greeting. After all, she came to visit the seer, Oracle.

Myst looked at his desk. Oracle usually spends most of his time there reading, writing or just there resting. Oracle looks intimidating when he sits on that chair especially with a shelf full of books behind his back but today he isn’t there.

“I’m over here, dear friend.” He said.

Myst looked sideways to see Oracle sitting on a sofa. He still looked the same; hiding his scar on his left eye with a monocle though it is still visible, his long hair tied behind his back with a ponytail and wears a white lab coat like a doctor.

“Take a seat.” He guides Myst to a loveseat in front of him.

“I-” Myst began.

“Shh- no need. I already know what you came here for.”

“That saves me the trouble but nevertheless I still want to state it.”

“I know. Which do you want to know first; your brother’s guardian or your fate?”

“I’ll go with my fate then. So how does my life fare in this mortal realm?”

Oracle frowned. “Very grim, I must say. You’ll never be safe no matter where you hide. Be it this realm or your realm. And be careful to where you place your trust for someone close to you will be the one who will inflict you with misery and pain.”

Myst felt irritated by Oracle’s statement. “Just tell me who it is. Don’t dilly-dally on me.”

Oracle gleefully smile which annoys Myst more. “And spoil the surprise. It’s best you experience what I’m already seeing. It’s totally amusing actually.”
