My family sat in silence—equally mesmerized and horrified—as we watched our dawning reality playing out on the screen in my grandparent's small farmhouse. The TV was the only thing keeping me tethered to the ground as the voices of panicked newscasters and images of hysterical crowds ran screaming through the streets–– Human chaos at its finest.
Aliens are real.
Our sense of security diminished into the night, blown away into oblivion.
