The next morning was like a whole new life opening up like a book right in front of Peter's face. As he sluggishly got up out of bed, he walked across the hall and cracked the door to the room that was now Sadee's.

She was sound asleep. A smile was drawn upon his face as he quietly closed the door. Peter slipped on his suit and climbed out the window. He swung from building to building, breathing in the morning New York air. The thought of knowing he would not be able to do this forever made even more the reason to go out.

As Peter stopped to catch his breath upon a fifty-foot building, he watched as a car sped through traffic. He swung down to the four-way intersection and jumped in front of the car. Sticking his arms out, the car's hood crunched up and he slammed it back down. Peter webbed up the mans hands onto the steering wheel.

"Everyone is in a rush, buddy. Police will be here any second and hand you a ticket that will probably drain out the money on your card, which technically means, no coffee for you". The man cursed him out, but Peter was already back to swinging.

After checking the daily crime-populated spots, he returned to the tower. He softly stuck himself to the window, trying to not to make any noise and he crept back in. Once he was grounded, he turned around and yelled. Tony was standing arms crossed in his doorway.

"What are you doing?" Tony asked. "I was just going out for some air and-" Tony stuck up his finger. "No, Peter" he snapped, "You can't be doing this. I knew this was going to happen". Peter swallowed hard. "How long was I gone?" he asked. "About an hour. She's in the kitchen eating. Let's go. Uniform off. Get something in your system". After Tony left, Peter collapsed on the bed.

He walked out into the kitchen to see everyone eating. Sadee looked up from her bowl of cereal. "Good morning, Peter" Thor said happily, wearing an apron that said 'Cooking God'. "Would you like some pop tarts or waffles?" he said smiling widely holding a pan of waffles and a box of pop tarts.

Peter glared at him for a moment. Was this a test? "Waffles will do" Peter replied in a monotone voice. "Waffles it is" Thor said and slapped them on a plate and dribbled syrup on them. He slid the plate across the counter to Peter who was sitting on a bar stool next to Sadee.

She was finishing up by drinking the rest of the milk in her bowl. "Uncle Tony said I could go out swinging with you sometime. Is that true?" she looked over at her dad. Peter almost spit out his food. He turned around to look at Tony. Tony agreed with what Sadee said. "If you would like, then yes" Peter replied with a mouth full of food. Sadee grinned.

"I've actually dreamed of it. Every since Uncle Thor told me what you can do, you're backstory and everything, I've always wanted to feel what it's like to free-fall". Peter completed his breakfast and slid he plate over to the side of the counter. "It's a date. Tonight. Seven o'clock. Don't be late" Peter said and winked at his little girl.

Sadee got off the chair and jumped up with glee. She skipped to her room. Clint clapped his hands. "That's point number one, kid" he said. "That's making up for this morning" Tony added. "What the hell happened this morning?" Thor asked. "Nothi-" Peter started but Tony cut him off. "This newbie-dad thought it would be a terrific idea to leap out the window and get some people on their way to court" he announced.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Thor boomed. Peter looked over at Nat who was whispering something into Steve's ear. As Thor continued to rant, Steve finally broke it up, "I think there is somebody who you need to talk about this" Steve said to Peter, "and it isn't me". Peter watched as Steve glanced over at Bucky.

"Clear out" Steve said to everyone. Meredith walked over to Peter and whispered in his ear, "Please hear him out, Peter. We only want you to be the best man. And if anybody has advice about that, it's him" she tapped him on the shoulder before leaving.
