Good Enough

14 Hours

The Bluegrass show and taking pictures were over. Amy was tired as hell plus her baby was not only moving like crazy but making her feel like she's carrying heavy stuff.

"Josh I can walk." She moaned. She was overstressed and was about to cry. "Why did you park so far?"

"Babe calm down. The car is just there. "

"I know but even this distance seems so long!"

Josh laughed. "I've told you to cancel the show."

"Shut up and carry me till car."

In 5 minutes they were in car. Amy realized how cold was outside. It didn't take so long she to fall asleep. The way she sleeps and murmurs made Josh want to watch her, but since he was driving that was impossible. Maybe they should've stay in a hotel? He changed the direction to city center. He knew his wife would get angry but he didn't care. He wasn't going to travel 14 hours in the night. They would go tomorrow in the morning. He parked the car and tried to wake Amy.

"Amy, babe."

Nothing came as an answer but a murmur. He giggled.

"Ames? Ames you gotta wake up."

"What? what's going on?" Amy blinked. "Where are we?"

"Nashville."

"Still? why?"

"It's too late to travel 14 hours. We should stay in a hotel. I'm sure sleeping in a bed will be better for you and baby."

"Okay. So let's go." Amy said yawning. "I'm so sleepy."

"I know. Lets go."

They checked for rooms and fortunately there was one. Amy let herself fall on the bed as soon as they came in the room.

"I love beds." Was the last words she said before she fell asleep. Josh kissed her softly and lay next to her causing her to turn around and hug him. He covered both of them and they fell asleep.
