Blue Life

ONE

The dirty clothes were washed thouroughly in the machine which machine without even being sorted out and it was closed quickly and the button was pressed. On the table in the kitchen was an iPhone ringing. Footsteps were made running to pick the call and then it was answered by a girl in her early 20s with beautiful blue eyes. Black hair and light skinned. Dressed in a black bra top with a pair of ash sweats revealing her flat stomach with a navel ring which looked very sexy. She cleared her throat.

"Mirai! Was expecting the call though. "

"Shut up... You have any plans this night? "
Jane walked to her bedroom and checked her calendar above her bed . "Guess I do. We're having a company dinner. Mr Walsh just arrived and so we have to welcome him warmly. "

"Well, that's cool. " Mirai said without interest.
"What's going down this night? " she asked sitting on her bed with ash bed cover with her pink duvet. The bed was a little bit arranged.

"Guess what? Jake just came to town and he's throwing a hell of a party... Which is this night that you're having a nice time with your colleagues " she could sense irritation in her friends voice.
"Oh my gosh. I can't miss it. " Her eyes widened.

"Truth is, you can't miss both. You have to be present in your boring dinner cause Walsh is a great fan of yours.... " Jane chuckled. "And Jake is our childhood friend. We both have to be present there. I mean he'll be really disappointed if you don't show up Jane. "

The cat came into her bedroom and  climbed her bed quickly. Jane caught it and put it on her lap and played with it furs which sent shivers to the cat. "Oh! say hi to Mr ducky ducky! "

"Gosh!Jane I'm being serious over here!! "

Jane rolled her eyes. "It's easy. I'll attend the both. "
There was a silence like Mirai couldn't believe her ears. "You're crazy Jane.. You know that right? "
"No, I'm not... You're the one who isn't looking at things optimistically. "
"How please?  They are two entire different occasions! "

"I.... "she choked on her voice and started coughing hard with her hand hitting her chest to relieve herself.

Mirai shook her head. "Now, tell me something is burning again. All I wonder everyday is how a foolish brat like you could get a job in DEWS."

"Oh my goodness... My cake. "

She ran to the kitchen and switched off the oven with one hand and her phone in the other. The whole place was already filled with smoke that she had to open all the windows to let the smoke out. She coughed three times and brought out the cake from the oven. It was completely burnt so she rolled her eyes. "What a waste. "
Her phone was still in her hands as she walked out of the kitchen and put it back in her ear.

"I really really hope that your apartment won't get burnt one-day. "
"Shut the hell up Mirai!! "
The cat ran past the bedroom to under the chair.
"Mr dd, you aren't meant to be under the chair. " She said walking over to retrieve it.
"May God help your life Jane.... Just ensure you're in Jake's party no matter the optimistic plan you're having. "
"Sure! I'll be there. Bye now. "
She cut the call and removed the cat from under the chair.

"Now, that was your last warning Mr dd. " she said and dropped it on the chair.
