"Your neighbourhood is really tight like at this time, people are still moving around and talking "
"Yours is otherwise? "
"Yeah...... Like everyone looks out for themselves and their properties. You're just on your own there. "

"Is it quiet? "

"To the extreme. Feels like you're living with a bunch of dead bodies. "
She chuckled and her eyes widened pointing to her house.
"Yeah, that house with a green roof.... "

"Okay. " he drove to the front of the house and parked.

"There aren't any loved ones waiting for your arrival, are there? "
"Nope. I live alone. "
He squeezed his mouth. "Why does that sound good? "

She chuckled. "I don't know what's going on in your dirty mind but it's good cause I get to not be inconvenienced. "
"Oh, so you like staying alone? "

"With my cat actually... Mr dd. You could come say hi. What do you say? "

He had an impression on his face that completely understood.
"Okay....... That's not your kinda thing so I guess I'll be getting out now. " he smiled.

"Judgy much. "

She chuckled. "Your face expression said it all. " Her hands were crossed already.

"Okay..... Goodnight.... Mr dd should be expecting you. "

She  nodded. "True.... Goodnight. " she was about to open the door but she stopped and turned back to face him.
"Thanks for tonight. "

he looked away and she stretched her neck and pecked his cheek. He turned and faced her with their nose touching. She froze and looked into his eyes and he looked into hers. Her heart started beating faster. What was he going to do? She was becoming curious all of a sudden and then she asked.
"What...... What..... What are you going... to do? "

He shifted his head away and she closed her eyes. 'Okay, this is really awkward ' she thought and then sat back on her seat. Her muscles felt relieved cause she had been straining them for a while. She wanted to open the door again and he held her hand. She looked at him frowning.

'What the hell is he thinking? ' she screamed in her head and he spoke. "You should really sleep well. In fact, as you get in just go straight to bed cause it's already late. Am I understood? "

She giggled and shook her head. "So uhm... When did caring for me start? "

"Just do as I say............ Please. "
She smiled. "okay I will. "
He removed his hand from her arm and she went out of the car. She waved again........

"Jane are you even listening? " Jeremy complained and she came back to her office with a pile of papers on her desk. She shook her head and he heaved.

"Ok, I said that I've been on this new ad since last night. I slept for just two bloody hours..... Trying to get the perfect scenario for all this. So, I wrote down three hundred of them and I'll like you to go through them and tell me your thoughts. "

she frowned. "So what will you be doing if I'm looking at them? "

"Looking through yours of course. " She busted out laughing. "Why? "

"I thought we were a team. "

"You know that if you're always bringing good ads to the table... You'll get promoted so this seems like..... Stealing of ideas to me. "

He rolled his eyes. "Why will I want to do that?  Cmon, where is your work? "

She hadn't done anything serious at all and she was fully aware. The only thing she did was to start writing what was on her mind till she went over to Jon's. She cleared her throat.

"No, I won't. "

He laughed and checked her table and she frowned. "That's totally impolite Jeremy! "

He stopped and looked at her. "Wait a sec. You haven't done anything have you? "

Her eyes widened and she laughed.

"You're totally wrong. I'm done with mine just waiting for the board meeting so I could present mine. "

He nodded and looked at her bag. There was a paper on the top so he just dragged it out and read through it. Jane knew that that was her work.
"Hey...... " she stood up and he kept on looking into it. She walked up to him and snatched it as he started laughing. She put the paper in her bag and zipped it up.

"Oh, oh, uhm I'm done with mine just waiting for the board meeting so I could present mine..... Hahahah.... Present mine my ass..... Oh so that's what you're going to present.... Hahaha.... "

"Shut up. " She said with a grin and her secretary entered the office.

"Uhm, Miss Jane... You've got a visitor. "
She frowned. Jeremy was still making fun of her. "What's the name? "

"Uhmm.... Ryan Mickeals. "

Her heart raced for a second and she gulped in her spit. "Oh my goodness! "

Jeremy stopped laughing and looked at her with worry. "what's the problem? "

"Uhm.... uhm... How do I look? "

Jeremy then noticed that she was in a red and white striped long sleeved crop top with a black jean revealing her navel ring. He looked at her feet and saw a nude heel with a bracelet on the left ankle.
"Yes? "
He smiled. "hot. "
she nodded. "My makeup? "
She was barely on makeup. "Your face is okay. "
"You sure? "
"Yh. "
"Really really sure? "
He rolled his eyes. "Yessss. "

The secretary was really confused and so she asked. "Should I tell him to just go? "
"No, no.... That's like the dumbest thing you've ever said Carly. "
"Oh, I'm sorry. " Carly apologised.

"Just let him in. "

"Okay. " Carly left and she asked Jeremy again. "What of my hair? "

It was packed up neatly so he gave her an assured smile and the door opened. She rushed back to her seat quickly and he entered inside.

Jeremy was also flabbergasted. Now he understood why she really cared of how she looked cause this guy was damn handsome. He came to her and whispered in her ears. "Why is he so handsome? "

She wanted to talk but she was dumb founded and he left the office leaving both of them alone after greeting Ryan.

He was in a normal canvas and a plain ash shirt and black jeans. Very simple but with style. She was already afraid that he looked even better than her.
