CHAPTER 1: "Junior Year"

PRESENT DAY (5 years later, Junior year)

"Chaemi, I think the classroom is this way!" Minji said as she looked up from the map and pointed to a direction. You fiddled with the end of your white jean shorts.

"Are you sure? You said that last time, and we made our way to the bathroom!" You replied looking up at her. She shrugged and sighed.

"I guess the only option is to ask my brother!" She said as she rolled her eyes. "Wait, where is my brother?" She asked looking around. Suddenly someone ruffled her hair from behind.

"Right here sis!" Mingyu said making Minji roll her eyes once again. "I knew you weren't smart enough to find your way around here, so I'll help you get to your first class!" Mingyu said as he looked at the map. "Wait where's your schedule?" You held it up in the air, making Mingyu smile and come towards you. You could feel his hot breath on your neck as he scanned the paper you were holding. "Oh, chemistry...Follow me!" He said as he hurried through the halls. You and Minji looked at each other and shrugged at the same time before running with him. You guys found him in front of a classroom, looking at you guys with a raised eyebrow. You guys panted as you came towards the classroom.

"Thanks Gyu!" Minji said as she walked past him. You followed behind bowing and making small eye contact to Mingyu. You and Minji sat in the back getting ready and talking. "Okay, so have you seen any cute high school boys yet?" Minji asked making me scoff.

"It's only been 20 minutes since we got here, I haven't even looked at a boy besides your brother" You replied still trying to catch your breath from earlier.

"How about in here?" She asked, you looked around and saw a boy who was listening to music, a boy who had duck like hair, and a boy who looked foreign. I guess the foreign one looks cute you thought.

"The one who looks foreign" you simply replied getting a smirk from Minji. "What?"

"Oh, nothing! It's just that, you could totally date him!" She said as she fangirled. You scoffed as you looked at her with a smirk.

"Which boy do you think is cute?" You asked, Minji looked around for a bit, and smile sheepishly. "Who?"

"The one who's friends with my brother!" She said. You looked around looking for Wonwoo.

"I don't see Wonwoo" you whispered, earning a playful punch in the arm.

"I said I don't like Wonwoo!" She whispered back. "Remember when my brother came home with a whole bunch of boys?" You nodded in response, waiting for her to continue. "I said I thought the one named Jun was cute!" You recalled the time that happened and looked back at Minji with a smirk.

"Hey if he's your brothers friend then, that means he knows who you are!" You said looking at Jun and Minji a lot.

"As if! He probably forgot I exist!" She replied pouting loudly. You pat her head, trying to comfort her. "For some reason, I just remembered your ex boyfriend in 9th grade?" She said with a chuckle as she wiggled her eyebrows. You suddenly felt uncomfortable in your seat and fiddled with your bracelet. "But who cares about him! He's an ass-tronaut!" She said making me giggle. "Let's just hope Yina isn't here!" She said making me sigh in relief.
