You just moved here and mail keeps coming to the wrong address.

"(Y/n)!" My mom called from the kitchen.
"Hmm?" I say, busting into the room while ripping the headphones out of my ears. "I need you to get the mail."

I stumble out of our small, yellow painted kitchen and to our shiny black mailbox.

I grabbed all of the envelops that it contained and headed back upstairs to my apartment.

"Whatcha got?" My mom asked, and I glanced through them for a moment. "Phone bill, electric bill, a letter from my school, and a letter from Tony Stark ...wait that's not right." I say, trailing off.
"Hmm... Peter Parker." I ponder under my breath.

"I'll be right back. I have to give this to the neighbor." I tell my mom while walking out of our new home.

I searched for the address on the letter, and found it a couple doors down.

I walked up to it, and right before I got to knocked, a boy looking about my age came out.
"Hey! Are you Peter?" I asked and he nodded. "And you're (y/n)?" I nodded.

"I believe this is yours" I say, handing him Tony Stark's letter. "Yes, thank you! I've been waiting for this!" Peter says, his face brightening up immediately.
"And this is yours" he says while handing me two enclosed letters, one from my best friend back at home and another from an internship I applied for.
"Awesome, thank you!" I say as I took the letters.

"So, um, I'll see you later" Peter says as soon as I look up at him again. "Of course! I just moved in. I'm a couple doors down." I say, walking back to my apartment.

~~many months and maybe misplaced mails later~~

"Peter! I have your mail!" I called, walking in through his apartment door.

"You got another letter from that Stark Internship" I say, strolling right into his room, but I stopped in my tracks when I looked up and saw him.

He's dressed in Spider-Man's suit. "That's an interesting look you have going on...." I say, trying to convince myself that he isn't Spider-Man, that my best friend isn't Spider-Man.

"It's not what it -um- why didn't you knock?!" Peter says, attempting to sound strong, but he came out as scared and frightened.

"Oh okay, but you're Spider-Man?!" I halfway shout as a counter argument.

"No, nonono. This is just a... um... costume!" He tries convincing me. "Okay, sure" I say, turning to walk away.

Just as I grabbed the door handle, I feel something hit my hip.

I look down at it and see a long, white web that connects my hip to Peters wrist. "I'm sorry for not telling you."

"That's okay" I say, giving him a simple smile and walking up to give him a hug.
