"Watch out!" I yell at the one and only Spider-Man while fighting the one and only Vulture.
He ducks just in time before a thick metal pole comes swinging at where his head just was.
"Wow, thanks! That's really nice of you to look out for-" he begins, but I cut him off immediately just as the Culture takes another swing.
"Fight!" I yell while hauling up all the pieces of metal on sight and flinging them at the villain with my mind.
"Woah! How'd you do that?" Spider-Man says, getting distracted... again.I push the Vulture back and slam him into the ground with my telekinesis to save Spidey's ass.
"Focus!" I screech out, and suddenly he does. "My bad, sorry"Spider-Man swing up and slings his web to him in one graceful swoop, basically cementing him to the ground below.
As soon as Spidey was done, he took out his phone and started dialing someone.
"What are you doing?!" I whisper shout, and he holds one finger up to me that I want to snatch and break in that very moment."Hello, 911, I just found the menace, known as The Vulture, stuck to the ground between 32nd and 21st street" The man under the suit said swiftly.
"What now?" I ask, attempting to mask my voice with a deepened tone. "I'll catch you next fight." The kid says, swinging into the nighttime sky and leaving me in the middle of the scene.
I slump home to Xavier Institute for Higher Learning.
Right before I walk in, I check my watch, 2:36am. Great, I'll be getting in trouble for this.I slowly sneak in through the window that is usually always open, hoping that I'll meanlessly sneak past all of my professors and fellow classmates to my cozy bed that's waiting for me to crash in.
My graceful attempt at climbing in through the window fails as I make a crash landing directly in front of Rogue.
"Oh my..." she says while glazing at me, no doubt absorbing my memories of this night. "How will you explain this to Professor X?" She ponders, not really asking me, but I decide to answer anyways. "I won't, and neither will you even though I know you're itching to tell him." I convince her, and she finally agrees once I project my thoughts into her little head.
"Goodnight, Rogue" I say, strolling upstairs, and she responds with a soft smile.
~~the next day~~
I go back into New York City and right away see a ferry splitting apart.
I go over to it and find Spider-Man attempting to fix it, and he does for a moment, "nice going, kid" I say, but instantly after that all his webs break.
I use my powers to push both sides back together, but it's still not enough.
Suddenly, Iron Man comes flying in as if on cue and melds the ferry back to its original mold.
"What were you thinking?!" He says, yelling at Spidey once the ferry and everyone on it is saved. He takes off his mask in one angry swoop, and then I see that Tony Stark is standing in front of me. "I just wanted to help." Spider-Man says in a small boyish voice.
"And you!" Mr. Stark says, turning to me. "Me?" I question and he paces up to me. Oh boy, this can't be good...
"Does Charles know you're here?" Tony asks. Damn I forgot that they know each other. "No..." I say, looking up at his face, which is painted in 50 shades of disapproval.
"Let's get you home" he says and I groan. "And you home too!" Tony says again, pointing an angry finger at Spider-Man.
