Chapter 8

Juvias POV
We sat in a restaurant waiting for our food to come, though with the amount of food he ordered, I would be surprised if the restaurant has enough stock. 

"Do you have money?" I looked at Natsu with a blank stare as if he should have asked that question earlier.

"Did it look like Juvia had time to grab her money?" Natsu sweat dropped as the waiter came back, the mountains of food that Natsu ordered being placed before us.

"Umm, we won't be able to pay for this meal. Is there another way we can pay you back?" I looked at the waitress shyly as she just rolled her eyes.

"Finish up and grab two uniforms from the back, you work right away." And with that she walked off, not waiting for our replies.

"Guess we got a job." I sighed and looked out the window, my mind occupied by one thing and one thing only... Gray-sama.

"Guess we got a new life..." Natsu mumbled before slowing down his eating, his sad comment effecting him the most.

"Juvia is used to starting a new life, she's always moved from town to town." I started to let my mind wander as I continued to stare out the window. Though I'm used to leaving towns, I've never had to leave my home before. I was brought back into the real world once more when I felt the window shake. I looked around, Natsu and Happy were still eating, then who? I turn back to the window, surprised when Gray-sama's eyes stared into mine.

"Ah!" I jumped backwards, landing on my butt.

"Juvia what's up?" Natsu asked as the door bell rang, my head whipped around to see both Gray-Sama and Lucy running toward us.

"Gray-Sama?" I asked as he jumped into my arms, my heart stopping as he wrapped his arms around my neck, it was as if we were the only two in the world.

"I don't care what happened, I need you with me." As he pulled me closer I felt tears streaming down my cheek and I couldn't help it, I hugged him back.

"I love you, Gray-sama," I whispered gently as I kept him close, worried if I loosen my grip, he'll be gone forever.

Lucy's POV
I stared at Natsu from the doorway, not being able to move.

"Luce?" I watched him stand, every two steps he took I took one backwards. I don't get it, I was so excited to see him a moment ago I thought as I watched him get closer. He crouched before me with his usual goofy smile and I couldn't take it.

"Natsu you idiot! How could you just get up and leave me alone... Why would you leave me again?" I started to wipe the unwanted tears from my eyes as he tried to reach out to me. "At least last time you left me a note."

"Lucy." I felt him get closer as his arms pulled me close, my breath hitching when my cheek laid on his bare, warm chest.

"Why couldn't you just stay beside me." I felt his arms tense around me as he nuzzled his face into my neck.

"I didn't want to see that look on your face," he whispered softly, his hot breath sending a shiver down my spine.

"Natsu, people are starting to stare." Happy's voice pulled us away, our eyes wondering around the room to see all restaurant occupants eyes on us.

"We should go before we get into anymore trouble," Carla suggested causing Natsu to stand up, letting me go.

"We can't until we pay for our meals," Juvia sighed as she stood up, Gray standing beside her.

"You didn't bring money did you?" I looked at Natsu's guilty expression and smiled.

"Did you forget I put spare cash in Happy's bag for these kinds of moments." Happy searched his bag to find a bundle of cash in a neat roll.

"You're an an angel! How could we be blessed with such a goddess as you!" Happy and Natsu bowed before me once they paid the waitress, embarrassing me even more. 

"Would you to get up!" I yelled at the two, my face as red as Erzas hair.

"Come on guys, we should go back to the guild." Gray walked toward us, his hand holding onto Juvias dress. We exited the restaurant and continued on the path. I stayed close to Natsu, scared I would get lost.

"Juvia will go anywhere with you, Gray-sama." As Juvia finished her sentence Gray froze, his guild mark shining brightly before he disappeared.

"Gray-Sama?"
