To be a kid again- the curse continues

Chapter 11

Lucy's POV
I carried Gray to the bathroom and slammed the door behind me, slowly backing up to the wall.

"Juvia please, you need to stop." I heard Natsus words from the other side of the door as he attempted to calm the raging storm that was once Juvia.

"What should I do?" I asked to myself, hugging the doll close as I stared to hear things breaking. I've never felt so powerless... not like this... not since I joined Fairy Tail I thought to myself as screaming continued from the other side of the door. Moments went by when all you could hear were the two fighting. I closed my eyes in attempt to block out the pain that was on the other side of the door.

"Luce, are you okay?" I was snapped out of my thoughts and looked up to find Natsu opening the door. He knelt down to my height and extended a hand.

"Juvia?" I heard a voice, Gray's voice, ask. I looked over Natsu's shoulder to find the girl in question lying unconscious on the floor.

"We have to stop this... we can't control ourselves for much longer." Natsu clenched his fist, bowing his head.

"I don't understand, we weren't like you were when you were effected... why is it so much stronger this time?" I looked up to Natsu, hoping he would have an answer.

He mumbled something incomprehensible before standing up and moving over to Juvia once more.

"I don't know."

"Well we can get through this one, Levy-" I wanted to tell him there was hope, that there was a way and that the guild was close to finding it.

"There's no way to help us... we're a danger to everyone," he looked over to me with a sad expression causing my heart to sink. "I can't hurt you."

"You haven't ever hurt me before, why would you now?" I walked over to him, letting Gray fall to my side as I hold onto his arm.

"Come on, we should get some sleep." I look up to the two beds that were in the room.

"Okay." He picks Juvia up and places her one of the beds, throwing the blanket over her. "You can take the other one... I'll sleep over on the floor."

He began to walk toward the floor next to the bedroom door, the space that would be furthest from my reach.

"Please Natsu," I grabbed his hand before he could continue.

"Luce... I cant hurt you."

"You won't, as long as you're beside me... you could never hurt me as long as you are beside me." I pulled him towards the bed and told him to sit. I walked over to Juvia and sighed at the sight. She looked terrible, exhausted. I place Gray beside her, Juvias arms automatically pulling him close.

"Goodnight," I smiled and walked over to Natsu who sat on the bed. I reached up and attempted to pull myself up but to no avail.

"You need help?" He asked but I just shook my head proudly.

"I can do this..." I puffed my cheeks before trying again, swinging my leg up. It's moments like these I miss my height I sighed before I fell flat on my butt, the blanket dragging down with me. Reluctantly I lifted my arms in the air toward Natsu, not looking him in the eyes.

"So stubborn," he whispered as he lifted me up to sit beside him before he collapsed onto the pillow.

"Goodnight, Natsu." I whispered before pulling the blankets over us and laying beside him, snuggling in closer as I tried to get warmer.

"Goodnight Luce." I felt Natsus arms pull me in closer, his forehead resting on mine as he held me securely. I smiled and looked up at him once I heard him snoring, giggling at the sight.

"I love you," I kissed his nose. I always will...

Just a quick update! I wanted a chapter focused on Nalu because so far I've been focused too much on the Brotp more than the otp so next chapter I'm gonna do some Gruvia as well.
