Calm down Bella, they didn't do anything wrong. They just want to come with you, that's all. You can just talk to them, they might listen.
I can feel the power slowing, also their screams stopped. I let out a deep breath, and find a quiet place in my mind to relax, until it hit me. Jeramy doesn't know about my power!! This is why I wanted him to stay out of it. The little blonde-haired freak is probably going out of his mind. Though the ass next to him probably deserved it, I don't know why, and I don't really care.
"Bella, what is wrong with you??"
"Yeah, my head can only take so much!!" I know deep, deep, deep down inside Zac is a person who cares. Next to that person is the devil stabbing him to death.
"How are you so calm about this Zac!! She is a witch!!"
"Well, it's not the first time this has happened."
"That's what happened in the forest!!" Great now J is stating the obvious. What's next, is he gonna go play 'Ring A Ring A Rosie'.
Every time I use my power I loose a bit of myself. Looks like Jeramy is the first that thing my power takes away from me. Well it's more of a curse.
"I am not a witch, and if you call me that again, I'll send you where not even the crows will find you!!"
"Well aren't you a bit of a..."
"Excuse me, there are little kids here."
"HA!! She called you a kid!! I'm starting to like her!!" And he's starting to get on my nerve.
"Bella. I am still going with you no matter what you say or do!!" Why can't Jeramy understand
"Thought I was a witch!!"
"Witches can be good."
"Fine!! You can come, only because I know you'll follow me anyway!!"
"I think your FORGETTING SOMEONE!!"
"If you shut up you can come too Zac."
This is going to be one hell of a ride.
I told them about my mum, the blanket and my dream. They keep a blank face the whole time, so I have no idea what they're thinking.
"You know, each tribe has 4 scrolls from the original leaders, and I heard a story that when they defeated the death tribe, they split the four scrolls between them."
"Then we must go and find those scrolls!!" They might be the key to finding my real parents.
"We could start at the fire tribe. I know that place like the back of my hand!!" I have a good feeling about this.
We walked to the fire tribe in silence, with Zac leading the way and Jeramy trailing behind. We walked a little further and saw fire illuminating the sky. It was so beautiful and warm. Maybe a bit too warm, but it's better than the freezing cold rivers.
Zac leads us to a small hut near the edge of the village.
"Stay here I will be back with the scrolls."
"No! I'm coming with you." A hand grabs my arm, and holds it tightly.
"Bell, don't. We need to stay here." I rip my arm out of his grip.
"No J!! I'm going!!"
"I for once agree with Jeramy." How can they do this too me.
I storm out of the hut and and scan the village. I spot a giant hut on top of the hill, overlooking the village. Bingo.
"Bella, stop!!" I turn around and once again they're chasing me. I feel like I'm reliving moments of the past. I start sprinting for the big hut while looking behind me. All of a sudden I hit something big and strong, like an elephant. I stumble backwards, and waddle around a bit. Then once I regain my balance, I look up and see a really fat man, and he doesn't look too happy.
"Dad!" I look behind me to see Zac and Jeramy running up next to me. Great I ran into the fire leader.
"Zac, do you know this person?"
"Umm yes. She is my girlfriend."
"Girlfriend huh?"
"Yes, her name is Bella."
"Will I see her at dinner?"
"Yes." What is Zac getting me into.
"Then I'll see you two there." Then he walks off with a grin on his face. I am dead.
I turn around and slap Zac on the face!!
"Why would you say that I'm your girlfriend!!"
"Don't worry, I'll just say you had to go home immediately."
"You'd better!!"
I whip my long, black hair in his face and walk back to the hut.
The hut is smaller than the one back home. It has a bench and blankets, and all of your necessary needs, like bowls and grinders. It may be small, but it's cozy.
I find a nice spot of blankets and I rest my head on them. My eyes are so heavy and tired, I figured it wouldn't hurt anyone if I just had a little rest.
"We have to leave, we are a danger to our villages!!"
"No Zinx, you are!!"
"Boku's right Zinx, we are doing just fine."
"Can you at least help me!! I can feel when people die, and I can take someone's life with the snap of my fingers."
"I'm sorry Zinx, but we have families to look after."
"But I need help!!"
"Sorry Zinx, but we can't."
"You will be sorry for this!! You all will!!"
"Bella!! Wake up!!"
"Uhh, stop yelling, in awake."
"Good, because we have to go to dinner."
"WHAT!! You said that you could get me out of it!!"
"Yeah, no. My Dad wouldn't budge."
"SERIOUSLY!! Where's Jeramy."
"On a walk, why?"
"I was just making sure there were no witnesses for when I kill you!!"
"Umm Heh, I'm just gonna wait for you outside." Then he ran outside before I could get him.
Zac and I walk to his hut, all the way on top of the hill. The walk was long and tiring, how do they do this everyday?
