Shibuya is crowded with swarms of people in yukata, casual clothing, even some in business clothing. The air feels festive and chatter is excited. I awkwardly shift through clumps of bodies, occasionally muttering apologies to those I bump into. Finally, I notice a group of 3 males. One of them I recognize as Ryuji, and another as Kurusu Akira. Our eyes meet and he lights up, waving me over. As I approach the group, I see a couple girls trying to get one of the 3 guys to join them.

"Please? It'll be fun!" they whine.

The young man waves them away and seems irritated. I notice that he is wearing a yukata. Could he be...?

"Um excuse me?" I tap his shoulder.

He sharply turns around at the sound of my voice and glares at me.

"What now?" He snaps.

My eyes widen in surprise. It's the Kosei student I met before! Perhaps I was mistaken, but in that case, I might be able to ask him about Kitagawa Yusuke.

"Ah sorry. I mistook you for someone else. But it's nice to meet you. Anyways, what a coincidence that you guys all know each other! I'm (l/n) (y/n) and I'm going to be joining you guys today. I just recently met Ann and Ryuji, but they invited me along." I introduce myself nervously.

The boy shakes his head and loosens his shoulders.

"Ah, I'm terribly sorry. I thought you were approaching me for a different reason. Actually, I did hear about you from Ryuji, but I had no idea you would be the young lady from the art exhibition. It's nice to finally make your acquaintance." He smiles.

"Art exhibition?" Ryuji questions.

"Ah, no matter. We met once on the subway, it's just a surprise to see her again like this. You look lovely, by the way." he takes my hand and slightly kisses it. I blush at the sudden action, and Ryuji gets agitated.

"Ah, you're making a move on her? Dammit I was supposed to do that first." he sulks.

"Hey idiots! What are you doing to her??" We hear a yell across the station and turn in that direction.

Ann comes along with another girl, and I get to meet the whole group, except for the boy in the yukata, as he stands off to the side deep in thought, seemingly watching passing people. After chatting for a few minutes, I feel like I should speak up about now.

"Hey, um guys when is Kitagawa-san getting here?"

Everyone's eyes widen. The Kosei boy takes a step towards me.

"What do you mean?" he sounds curious.

"Oh," I start, "I guess I should explain myself. The main reason why I am here is to meet an artist I admire. I went to an art exhibition last week, and I saw this piece called 'Desire'. Although not many others felt the same as me, I was moved by the pure passion for art the piece had, and the desperation of the artist that I could feel through the paint strokes. It's kind of rare to see that much personality clearly conveyed in art these days. It's still clear that he may have a long way to go, but I really respect him and wanted to convey that in real life." I take a breath of relief. The others just stare at me in silence and shock after my long speech.

"Oh oops, I talked too much. Anyways, his name is Kitagawa Yusuke, and I heard he would be here. So... Is he? Can I meet him?" I look around nervously.

Suddenly Ryuji bursts into laughter, and the others soon follow suit. The young man in the yukata gives me a low chuckle and puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Ah, it seems there has been a misunderstanding. I apologize for not introducing myself earlier. Actually, I am Kitagawa Yusuke. But since you're a part of our group now, just call me Yusuke. Thank you for liking my art. I actually accept the criticism I received from the other artists, but I greatly appreciate the fact that you could see my true intent behind the work."
