Chapter 4: Girls Day Out

A/N: Thanks for sticking with me! I think I might start doing more 3rd person perspective chapters, just so that it's easier to write "into Yusuke's thoughts". Let me know if the switching throws you guys off or anything. Thanks, and hope you enjoy!

Edit: Sorry, Yusuke doesn't really get any screen time here. I just wanted to take a minute and slow down to develop a few things. Next chapter for sure, though!

After that little incident on your phone, you decided to leave that strange app alone and not worry about it. After all, you couldn't uninstall it for some strange reason, and antivirus didn't detect anything malicious from it.

Your mind was much more focused on your upcoming date with your new, and first boyfriend, Yusuke. You sighed and clenched your chest, just thinking about him. Excited and still letting the realization hit you- that such a wonderful man was head over heels in love with you- you squealed and did a happy dance in your chair. Your eyes fell upon a certain closet door in your room, and you then remembered that you hadn't picked out an outfit yet for the special occasion. It had to be something cute yet elegant, since that's what you thought he would like. It also couldn't be something he's seen you in before. Rummaging through the jungle of shirts, pants, and hangers, you looked for something suitable. The problem was, you haven't really gone on many of these types of outings, so you didn't have much to wear. Your clothing was either too casual, or too formal- like something you would wear to an art exhibition or a wedding. There was only one option. Stumbling back to your desk, you picked up your phone, and started a chat with a certain group of people.

Takamaki Ann and Niijima Makoto have been added to the chat room.

7:45pm

Me: Hey guys!

Ann: A chat room for just us girls? Not a bad idea if I do say so myself!

Makoto: How interesting. I've never done this before with a group of friends.

Makoto: But why all of a sudden? Is there something on your mind?

Me: Actually, yes. This might sound trivial, but I need some help, with... girl things.

Me: Oh, but!

Me: You guys don't have to though! Sorry if I'm bothering you.

Ann: Of course not! Friends help each other out, and honestly I need something to get rid of my boredom. I haven't been able to get any studying done.

Makoto: Ah, procrastination at its finest. It's summer break though, so it might be nice to take a break every once and a while. What's the matter?

Me: Well, Yusuke asked me out on a date, but I need help buying an outfit. I don't really have anything prepared for that sort of occasion. My clothes just aren't right.

Ann: Yeah, I feel you there, girl.

Ann: ...

Ann: Wait.

Ann: Yusuke asked you on a date?!?! YES FINALLY! dhanivaiyvlavdaj auwrote Congrats, girl!!!!

Makoto: I'm also excited for you. I'm sure you'll both make a lovely couple.

Me: Ahaha, thanks guys! So, can we maybe go to Harajuku on Saturday?

Ann: For sure!
