  sitting on the couch of my deserted home I started thinking . thinking harder than ever . assuming and playing scenes ."maybe this will all blow over . find a cure" one thought was . "I will never go back to school"was another ... then I realised .....KAY ... I ran to the counter where my phone was which had very low battery I dialed her number quickly as I walked to the charger and plugged my phone In . luckily power was still up . I'm thinking it won't be for long . the phone rang .... and rang ... no answer . what am I going to do . right before . em are you alright" crackled the phone .... I was in shock she answered . tears ran down my face of joy ..."KAY ... YOUR ALL RIGHT" I smiled while crying .

"y-you are to .. what is going on" she replied I could tell she had been crying . "I have no idea .... how is Ben .. Elsa" I said .... nothing but silence came from the other end

"i-im so sorry" I sad with my hand over my mouth . her brother and sister are gone . they were like mike siblings to . then I realised "K-Kelsey" I whimpered . I can't believe this whole time I forgot about my older sister Kelsey . I believe she went to Cassandra's house . "is she alright " kaylin said to me ."no Idea ... hang on" I said running to the house phone so I don't have to hang up on Kay . c'mon answer please "Emilie .. Emilie is that you " I heard crying from the other end

I couldn't look . then I saw an opening in the crowd of those monsters . I saw her ... Kay my best friend since first grade .. she was being eaten alive .. I started crying . like I've never before I felt Kelsey's hand on my shoulder she was crying too .

I clenched my knife harder and ran to the crowd . I knew where to hit them their week spot . and stabbed all of them in the head from anger . tears fell down . the more and more I stabbed I saw people I knew . people I cared about . then one came behind me and I fell down . almost getting bit . I let go . I gave up . my knife lowered and I knew this wasn't going to blow over . but before the infected could maul me a knife went through its head ."Kelsey " I said . "yeah ... your so brave . I love you " she said as she gave me her hand "but you don't just ... do that ...I COULD HAVE LOST YOU ....AND YOU JUST GAVE UP" she yelled . "I -im sorry Kelsey" I said . I turned around and saw a bag over Kelsey's head and than blackness
