The Love That we Made Together

Chapter 1

POV: Narrator

    Magnolia. A merchant town of 60,000 that resides in the southeastern district of Fiore. Known for its shops and trades places that line the streets, Magnolia is also respected for one of its top guilds, FairyTail. Though, FairyTail hasn't been having the bestest of luck after an incident on Tenrou Island that lead to the guilds top members to mysteriously vanish for seven years. But now that they are back after so long, it's time for Magnolia's most special occasion. One of the many reasons why this town is widely known, is for the cherry blossoms that are produced by the Sakura tree that is in the center of the town. Once a year, on a certain date, the moon shines down on the Sakura tree, making the blossoms turn into rainbow colors. This celebration will be taking place in a day.

POV: Lucy

'I can't believe that this will be my second time seeing the rainbow cherry blossoms! But this time, I definitely won't be getting sick!'

Right now I am sitting in the guilds hall, slurping on my strawberry smoothie that Mira made for me. I'm super excited for the rainbow cherry blossom celebration that's coming up. I've even went out earlier today to get a traditional silk robe to wear to the gathering!

Master told us that while he's at another masters gathering, we are all free to join in the festivities, as long as we don't cause trouble (like my last cherry blossom experience.) It was really sweet and all that 'someone' brought a Sakura tree outside of my apartment building, but this time Im not going to be sick during it!

As I reach half down my cup, the doors to the guild are pushed open.

"Hey guys!" A cheerful Natsu calls out.

"Aye! Hello!" Happy says at his side.

Some people respond with waves and hello's. I smile and also wave, but keep drinking my smoothie. They stand by the doors, scanning around the area, until Natsu's and my eyes meet. His toothy smile turned into an excited grin and they started to walk towards me.

"Heya Luce! How's it going?" He chirped, placing his rear on the seat in front of me.

"Good." I responded, taking another sip.

Without a second after, my cup was immediately swiped from my finger tips.

"H-hey!" I yelled

Natsu was now holding my cup and drinking through my straw, quickly chugging down to the bottom and leaving no more. I scoffed and crossed my arms.

"So your gonna stroll in here and take my drink huh?" I said with an irritated tick in my head.

His face quickly grew weary and he nervously placed down my cup, putting his hand on the back of his neck.

"S-sorry about that.." He chuckled

  I rolled my eyes and noticed Happy start to laugh next to him.

"Oh! She schooled you Natsu!" He chuckled

Natsu glared at his buddy. Happy moved his paws over his mouth to try and stop his roaring laughter but failed.

"I'm going to go find Carla.." He trailed off, quickly making his way the other direction.

Even though I was still slightly  irritated, I couldn't help but laugh at the annoyed expression on Natsu's face.

"Hahahaha..." Left my lips and I lightly clutched at my stomach.

"Hey, What's so funny?" Natsu, now irritated, handed me back my cup.

   I shook my head and continued laughing.

"Y—your. Face..." I slowly raised my hand and pointed at his face. "It was. Just s-o priceless!" I said in laughs.

   His cheeks turned red in embarrassment and he crossed his arms, turning his head away in disapproval. I quietly chuckled and stood up, moving over to his side and slightly swinging my arm around him.

"Oh, is little Natsu upset now?" I chuckled

   His face grew a bit more red. I raised my brow and looked at him with concern. 'Is he feeling well?' I pulled my arm off him, using my free hand to turn his face to look at me.

"W-what are you d-doing?" He asked nervous.

"Are you feeling okay? Your face is turning red.. And your sorta burning up a bit.." I moved the back of my hand and placed it against his forehead.

  He quickly stood up, tripping on the table moving away from me.

"Y-yeah.im.fine.oh, I better be finding Happy again bye!" He quickly dashed off to where Happy went.

   I sat and confusingly watched him walk off.

"Well that was strange.." I stood up and fixed the table that Natsu tripped on.

   I took my empty cup over to Mira who was cleaning some dishes behind the bar.

"Hey Mira, you know what's got Natsu all weird acting?" I asked her.

   She turned and faced me, drying her hands off on her apron and putting them on her hips.

"Well..he did tell me something the other day that might or might not be the reason for his awkwardness, but he told me not to tell anyone. Especially you." She said with a big smile on her face.

   This made me even more concerned.

   'Why especially me? What did I do? Is he mad at me?' I asked myself.

   I think Mira knew what I was thinking and she quickly walked from behind the counter and put her hand on my shoulder.

"Don't get all beat up about it Lucy! It's nothing bad, I swear!" She said giggly and took my cup, bringing it back behind the counter.

"But why can't I know?" I wined

"Because it's not my place to tell you or anybody!" She said sweetly.

   I rolled my eyes.

"Finnee.. I'll just go hang out with Levy then since Mr. Secrets over there can't even talk to me without getting all weird." I sighed and turned to look for my best friend Levy.
