The Love That we Made Together

Chapter 6

POV: Lucy

After an eternity of standing by the dock, we were disturbed by non other that our guild mates. Erza was the first to show up, glaring daggers at us when she first arrived. "There you guys are!! You were worrying us!! Wha-"she realized that me and Natsu were hugging before I was able to process what was happening.

By the time We pulled apart, everybody was staring at us with gaping mouths. "So this is what you guys ran off to do?" Happy smirked, leaning against Mira's leg- 'wait, when did Mira get here?'

"Uh..w-we came out here.. To get away from the crowds!" I stuttered, face-palming because that didn't explain why we were hugging. Mira then stepped away from the others and was basically bawling. She squeezed Natsu half to death, making him gag.
"Oh Natsu! I'm so proud of you! You actually pulled through with telling her-" Natsu then pulled his free arm up and covered her mouth. "Mira!" He groaned.

I giggled a bit, which made everyone look towards me. "Natsu, I already figured out what you were hiding from me. And I want no more secrets!" I told him.

   After a little bit, we decided that we should head back to the festival. As we walked, I was towards the back of the group, wondering what was going to happen between me and Natsu. If our relationship was going to change, if he was going to (for some reason) change his mind. I didn't realize Levy walk up to my side before she was already there.

"Hey Lu! Quite a night isn't it?" She smirked, lightly elbowing me. I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "Yeah, but I'm not sure.." I bit my lip and she added on "your not sure what's going to happen?" She asked.

"Yeah! How did you know?"
She rubbed her arm and started to blush. "That's what I ask myself when I think of t-telling Gajeel that..I love him.." She said quietly, but I know that I heard a light gasp from in front of me. I looked forward and found Gajeel staring at us out of the corner of his eye, but when he saw that I noticed he quickly turned back, his movement turning more stiffened.

"Well..sorry to tell you this princess, but I think your Prince Charming over there heard us.." I nervously smiled, seeing her expression drop. "A-are you for real?.." She mumbled.

"Well, you'll never know until you ask him. Tell him your feelings!" And with that I walked behind her and gave her a good shove. She quickly stumbled forward and luckily for me, Gajeel was close enough for her to grab onto.

I watched as she regained her balance by pulling up on his shirt. She didn't realize we're she was until Gajeel had turned around. He had an expression of slight annoyance, but I could tell that he had a blush.
"W-what, your legs made of rubber Shrimp?" He teased. I rolled my eyes as they went on and on about her being 'short' and her ridiculous nickname. Then after a little bit I got board.

"You two love birds should get a room." I laughed, walking past them. "Oh yeah? Well maybe you and hot-head should get one as well." Gajeel chuckled.

I rolled my eyes and sat down at our table again. "Oh Lucy, Natsu wanted me to tell you that he and Happy were going to go home. Happy apparently ate a bad fish or something so Natsu brought him home to rest." Erza told me. It made me feel a little sad, but at least I'll see him later.
"Okay, thanks for telling me." I smiled.

A few more minuets of silence and Erza was looking in 'aw' behind me. "What's wrong?" I asked, turning so I could see what she's seeing. When I looked behind me, I could see Levy and Gajeel patiently kissing. It was so surprising it made me choke on my air.

"W-wow..." I giggled. They slowly pulled away and Levy let go of his shirt. When she looked over at us staring at them she quickly hid behind Gajeel, causing him to laugh. "Gigigi..come on Squirt." He said, grabbing her hand and pulling her over to us.

   He picked her up and sat her down next to me, sitting down next to her afterwards. I leaned over to her ear and began to whisper. "I guess that means he likes you back." I giggled. She elbowed me in my arm again, and started to laugh.

"Yeah..I guess you were right.." She giggled.

I watched the blossoms for a little bit longer and then stood up. "Okay guys, I'm going to get going now. I'll see you at the guild!" I said, beginning to walk away. "Okay, bye Lucy!" Levy waved.

    I excited the area and started walking down the street. When I got to my apartment I took one last look at the blossoms, and went into the building.
When I got up to my apartment, I heard something inside..I quickly latched my hand onto the first gate key I could and opened the door. What I saw...was Natsu raiding my fridge.

"Natsuuu I just got that food!" I groaned, letting go of my gate keys that were still on my belt.
"Oh, hi Luce!" He said with a mouthful of food.
"I thought that you went home with Happy.." I closed the door and walked in a bit more. He swallowed what was in his mouth and rubbed the back of his neck.
"I did..but then I wanted to make sure you got home okay.." He chuckled.
   
   I rolled my eyes and walked past him, going into my room and immediately  turning on the lights. "What the?!?!"
When I stared out into my room, it had vases of blossoms in them. 'D-did he steal a whole bunch of the fricken rainbow blossoms?!?'

     In my room was almost 30 blossoms, all radiating brightly and beautifully. A hand went on my shoulder and it spun me around. "You like em?" Natsu did his signature smile, which made my heart flutter.

"N-Natsu! You stole me flowers?!" I asked him. "Well, it wasn't exactly 'stealing'. It was more like taking. I made sure that every couple of them was from a new area, that way nobody would even notice!" He had a proud expression as he looked behind me at the flowers.

    'Wow..all this thought just for me?' I leaned in and gave him a peck on his lips. "Thanks Natsu, I love them."

   His smile turned sweet and he put his hand on my cheek. "I love ya Luce.." He said softly. "I love you too Natsu.."

POV: Narrator

    And as the screen pulls away from our two love birds, we as readers get emotional from the budding romance. Take care, and hope you enjoyed the NaLu!
