Sooo......exactly one week from today I go back to the X Factor!! (Did I mention it's my birthday?!) Sorry, but I'm just really excited!!

Anyways, Luke keeps talking to me. He texted me yesterday and said that he missed me. Could he get any cuter?!?!

Today just keeps dragging on and on and on......I. Can. Not. Wait. To. Get. Back. To. The. X. Factor.

One Direction's new music video for You and I came out today and I have been watching it non-stop. My parents are pretty annoyed, but hey: YOLO

JOURNAL ENTRY #9

Okay, I'm just gonna come out and say it: I really don't know what to do about Luke. He came over today and asked me out. I reminded him about the X Factor and he said he remembered, but he didn't want to be away from me that long. I've only known him for like three days, but I really want to go out with him!!!!! My parents don't know, of course, but Blake does! I just- I don't know if I should tell them about him asking me out or not. I think I'd be safer without them knowing for now.

DAY 10:

"Skylar Marie Greene! Get down here right now!" my mother yelled.

I walked downstairs, nervously playing with my hands, awaiting to hear what my mum wants to talk to me about.

"You have a freaking boyfriend and DIDNT BOTHER TO TELL ME?"

"Huh?"

"Oh, don't 'huh' me. I know about Luke. You guys are a thing now, aren't you? You know you CANT HAVE A BOYFRIEND ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE LEAVING IN FOUR DAYS!"

"Mum," I said calmly. "Luke and I are not 'a thing'. He simply asked me out and I refused! it's not that big of a deal. How did you find out anyway?"

That's when Blake walked into the room. I stomped over to him and put on my 'mad face' even though I thought this whole situation was ridiculously funny.

"You told her, didn't you?"

His face went from a smile to a frown. "Sky- I'm sorry. I-"

"How could you? I trusted you not to tell anyone!"

"What didn't you want to tell me?" my dad said walking into the room.

Great...now I got my whole family into this.

Mom whispered to him and he nodded.

"OH. The deal with Luke. Why is it that we had to hear about this from your brother, Sky?"

"I didn't think it was a big deal. If I actually accepted his 'proposal' to be his girlfriend, I probably would have told you guys!"

"Yeah," Blake began. "The key word there being 'probably'."

I stared at him as he walked out of the room.

My mom sighed. "I now understand why you didn't tell us, but you need to know that since you're going to be gone for a while, your dad and I just want to know what's going on in your life before you leave!"

I nodded and apologized before walking up to my room to drown myself in my music.

I don't understand why my parents are so upset about this? I mean- I didn't even say yes to Luke! UUGGHH.

At least this whole experience inspired me enough to write a new song!

Two more days until I go back to the show! guess whose excited! #thisgirl!

I've been thinking about what song I will sing for boot camp, but for all I know, they could give us a list of songs to choose from like they do during live shows.

Anyways, if I don't have a list to choose from, I will probably sing Royals by Lorde......or Die Young by Ke$ha...or maybe Clarity by Zedd.....huh- I guess I don't know which song I will choose.
