Louis' POV
I cautiously walked over to the other boys. I could feel all of them staring me down as I sat down.
"Hi. I just have a couple of questions, and then I would like to tell you something." I said.
"Go ahead, mate!" Harry said, facing me.
I took a deep breath. "First of all, why are you guys making it such a big deal whenever I talk to Skylar now?"
"We just don't want you to hurt her again." Zayn said.
I looked over and saw Niall and Skylar going to the "secret area" of the bus behind the door that looks like a mirror type thing? Yeah? No? Well, at least it all makes sense to me.
"But it was an accident. People make mistakes, so why is this one so bad?" I asked.
All of them got quiet and broke eye contact with each other.
After a while, Liam finally spoke up. "Louis, it's her very first tour, her mum is worried about her being gone...we just want to make her first time on the road a special one. We want her to look back on it with memories."
"Good memories." Zayn added quickly.
"Okay," I sighed. "I didn't ever mean to hurt her. And now it's like I can't even look at her without getting dirty looks from you guys and I just-" tears pricked my eyes. "I want to talk to her and have all of you trust me that I won't say or do anything stupid."
"It's not that we don't trust you, Lou." Harry said. "We just don't want her to get hurt again. Do you know how terrified she was of you after that incident?"
"S-she was scared of me?"
"Only for a brief amount of time," Niall said walking in. "I just talked to her and she admitted to being scared, but only for like a day."
I didn't want to hear anymore. I just let the tears fall.
"But," Niall said, taking a seat. "Before she fell asleep, she told me that she wanted you to know that she trusts you."
"For what?" I didn't care anymore. I just wanted to make sure that these boys could let me talk to her again.
"She said even if the boys don't want you to talk to her, she wants you to know that she will trust that you won't hurt her even if they don't."
I nodded. "Thanks, Niall."
I looked over to the boys. "Do you guys even know what conversation we had earlier today? She just wanted to have a normal conversation with me too! Basically, Niall talked to her and she said that she doesn't want you guys to be so over protective of her! She wants to be able to talk to me without you listening in on us. Do you know how hard that was to hear from Niall? Sometimes I feel like if she wants to talk to me, she can't because you are always listening to us! This is one of those times! She couldn't come and tell me how she felt because you would have been there listening to the conversation, so she had to talk through somebody. That tore me apart to hear all that she had to say through somebody else."
"Well...." Zayn looked at all of the boys and they all did a little nod. "I guess if Skylar trusts you, we have no right to tell you that you can't be in the same room alone with her...." A smile began to creep onto my face. "Okay, okay. We won't get on you for talking to her. I mean- as long as you don't say something that could be taken the wrong way, I guess you can talk to her...and I will talk to Paul and Angelo about this, so if they ever see you in a room alone with her, they won't flip out." Zayn finished.
I laughed. "Thanks."
"Alright, mates! We should head to bed now, too. Is Skylar actually sleeping, Niall?" Harry asked.
"Yeah, so be quiet. If you wake her up, YOU will be the one who isn't allowed to talk to her." Niall laughed.
I smiled and went to get ready for bed.
