"Ready Xochitl?" A silky smooth voice shouted from the bedroom. I stepped out of the bathroom, heels clicking and fastening my pearl earrings. Liam stepped put of the room and I smiled at the sight of him. His hair was pushed back and his chocolate eyes sparkled, his red tie hung lose around his collar of his black button up.

"Need some help?" I asked taking a step forward and flipping my freshly curled black hair back behind my neck.

"That would be great," He grinned back as I took the tie in my hands and began to tie it correctly.

"There," I said tightening the knot and reaching down to smooth my tight fitting black dress.

"You look great babe," Liam stated as he took hold of my arms and held me at arms' length looking me over. "I take that back," he mumbled, startling me.

"Oh.. Well I mean I can go change or something I guess.." I mutter quietly.

"No no no! Not like that! I mean you don't look great. You look beautiful. Ok?"

I began to protest.

"Don't deny it," he replied putting his hand up to stop me. I closed my mouth and rolled my eyes and began to search for my purse. A car arrived a few moments later and Liam took my hand in his rather large one and escorted me out to it.

The night was crisp and cool and the stars brilliantly lit up the inky black sky. The car ride was quick and when we stopped I smiled. "You never disappoint do you Payne?" I asked seeing my favorite restaurant out the tinted windows.

He shook his head, "Only the best for you," he replied. Arm in arm we made our way up to the fancy restaurant.

"Do you have a reservation?" An overly perky woman asked when we entered the building.

"Payne for two," Liam answered pulling me closer to him. The woman furrowed her brow and stared at the list in front of her.

"I'm sorry sir... There's no reservation for a Payne here."

Liam's jaw clenched and I cringed, knowing he had... Issues sometimes. "No reservation?" He asked, seething. The woman looked startled by his manor towards her, "I'm sorry sir, but I can refer you-"

"No no no no no. I made a reservation for HERE. Not somewhere ELSE. And I expect a table. NOW!" The woman pursed her lips.

"Sir, you need to LEAVE. Now." Frustrated, he began to ball his fist, his plump lips in a thin line.

"Hey, Li it's ok. We can go somewhere else alright?" I said taking his hand and rubbing circles with my thumb on the back of it to begin to calm the brown haired British boy. His shoulders slumped as I began to lead him back out to the car that had brought us.

"I'm so sorry Xochitl, I... I wanted tonight to be special for us." He said as I slipped into the seat beside him, our hands still attached.

"Oh baby, it'll be special no matter what we do yeah? Tell you what, why don't we head back to the house and we can order a pizza or two and just lay around and watch movies 'til k?" I said leaving a soft kiss on his stubble covered cheek. He sighed and leaned back in the seat, and when he sat back up I looked over at his now grinning face.

"That sounds even better than my other plans," he said giving me a quick peck on the lips. I raised my eyebrows

"Other plans?" He shook his head.

"Don't worry about those sweetheart, I'm calling in the pizza now."
