A quiet cry slowly began to build over the crackling baby monitor. I groaned as I rolled over to find that the alarm clock read 3:47 AM. "Baby go to sleep," I mumbled to myself as I forced myself to sit up and rise off the bed, shuffling in one of Louis' T-Shirt and a ragged pair of shorts that were splattered with paint from the nursery to soothe my child.

"There's a good girl," I whispered to my 4 month old daughter as she stopped fussing and accepted the bottle into her small mouth. I sat in a tan recliner in the bubblegum pink nursery and slowly rocked her as she ate. My eyes began to become increasingly heavy and sleep seemed a step away.

Sleep.

Heavenly, delicious sleep.

"Someone's tired," a voice from the doorway chuckled. I smiled slightly feeling Louis' presence become increasingly closer as he made his way to the chair and sat on his knees in front of me.

"Hi babe, and hello my baby girl," He said dropping a kiss in my hand and another on our daughter's fuzz covered head.

"You want a turn?" I asked making sure to keep my voice quiet.

"I'd love to!" He replied, helping me to stand and taking the sleeping bundle in my arms. Louis took my place in the recliner and began to feed the now fussing infant.

"She's beautiful you know babe. She's gonna have ALL the guys crawling all over her just like her mummy," he grinned.

I laughed softly and pushed my husband's bed-head hair back out of his face, looking into his beautiful eyes, which our daughter had acquired from him. "Nah, just that one special guy," I whispered back, giving him a peck on his stubble covered cheek.
