Chapter 6

Draco made his way over to where he knew hi mate was. Instead of sitting there though his mate was standing waiting for him. "Couldn't wait to see me again could you." Draco said baking his mate blush. "Y..you're my mate." he asked almost shyly. "That I am." I smiled to him. "However I have yet to discover who you are." The boy looked down "I'm no one important" That made draco frown, how could he say that about himself. "Well I think you're important, you're my mate and I would do anything for you." The boy I realized. Like Harry Potter as pretty short and since he was submissive he might get shorter. "You would really do that for me?" "Oh course" Draco said as he made his way closer to mis mate taking his hand in his own. "You are the most important" Draco was happy when the boy didn't try to pull away from him and just stood there content. "My I ask your name?" the boy looked apprehensive "You first" Draco inhaled sharply he wasn't expecting that. "My name is Draco Malfoy, What is yours?" The boy just seemed to stare at him in shock "My..my name is H..harry Potter" Once the words had left his mouth the fog around each of them started to lift and they could finally see each other. Draco hoped Harry didn't reject him, he knew they hadn't had a good start, but things could change. "Harry please say something" Draco almost wanted to plead. "We can try again Harry, from the beginning, we can put our past behind us." Harry looked into Draco's eyes, then after a few seconds he nodded. "I would like that" He then brought out his hand "Hello my name is Harry potter" Draco smiled and took Harry hand in his own "hello Harry Potter my name is Draco Malfoy it's nice to meet you."

Harry POV

When I woke up that morning the first thing I did was smile. Like really smile. I had discovered who my mate was and even though it was Draco Malfoy I couldn't complain. He seemed generally happy when I had offered to start over again.

I quickly got dressed and made my way to the Great Hall. Once inside I looked over to the Slytherin table looking for a certain blond haired boy.

 "Looking for me" I jumped slightly and turned around. Draco stood in front of me looking down at me with gentle eyes. "Yes as a matter of fact I was." I told him.

"Would you like to join me or sit with the Gryffindorks" I didn't say anything, just thought for a second. I would have liked to join Draco, but everything was happening to quickly.

 "Maybe tomorrow" I suggested. Draco just nodded his head "Anything you want" with that he placed a calming hand on my shoulder and headed towards his table.

 I looked back at him watching the way his body swayed when he walked, then sat down with such grace. Quickly averting my gaze I made my way to the Gryffindor table. Once seated I grabbed a piece of toast and started to nibble on it.

I suddenly felt eyes on the back of my head so I slowly looked over and noticed Draco giving me a look, then looking back down at the toast in my hand. He then made a slight eating motion with his hand urging me to eat more.

Deciding to just listen to him I grabbed a piece of bacon and took a bite. I looked over at him and gave a smile that seemed to say 'see I can eat more food'. Draco gave a slight nod and went back to his breakfast.

Draco POV

I did it I found my mate and it was Harry Potter like I guessed. I'm so happy that he decided to start over and not reject me on sight.

"What's up with you?" Blaise asked beside me as we made our way to the common room. "I figured out who my mate was last night."

 "That's great" Blaise exclaimed.

 "What's great" Pansy said as she walked towards us. "Draco figured out who his mate was!"

"WHAT, no way who is it?"

 "Not here" I said as I lead them over to a corner and put up a silencing spell. "It's Harry Potter" They both gasped. "W...what happened did he accept you." I smiled widely at Pansy "yes as a matter of fact we have decided to start over" Pansy squealed

 "This is amazing news, oh you two are going to be so cute together." I smiled yes we were. "You two go on ahead I'll meet you at breakfast." They nodded and headed out the door. I checked myself one last time in the mirror, fixing my robes and my hair.

 When I was satisfied I made my way to the Great Hall. To my surprise I was Harry standing close to the entrance looking over the Slytherin table. "Looking for me?" I asked. He jumped slightly and I couldn't help but think it was the cutest thing ever.

When he responded with yes I was quite surprised with him being so straightforward. I offered to let him come sit with me, but he declined. My Veela just wanted to snatch him up pull him close. I laid my hand on his shoulder whether for his reassurance or my own I don't know. I then made my way to my seat on the table.

 I sat down inbetween my two friends and started filling by plate with eggs, bacon and toast. I was halfway through my eggs when I took a glance at Harry and noticed him only eating a piece of toast.

I growled lowly and continued to stare at Harry until he turned around. The boy was way too thin I couldn't allow him to eat so little.

Harry must have finally felt my stare and glanced around. I motioned for him to eat more. He picked up a piece of bacon and took a bite then looked back at me.

I ignored the look he was giving, just happy that he was eating a little more.

 I would have to watch his eating habits. I turned back to my own food and started to eat again.
